Abstract: In the past decade there has been a rapid expansion in the number of drugs available to treat Diabetes. Different classes of antidiabetic drugs are available with each having different pharmacological mechanism of action. This review presents the commercially available drugs for management of diabetes. Role of various antidiabetic drugs and their side effects are discussed.
