Abstract: Background: The need to be more competitive in the hospitality industry is rising daily in Ghana and therefore places the demand on hotels to be more creative in their strategic moves to meet the growing taste and preference of clients. Technological innovation is seen as one of the essential elements to be considered by hotels in order to stay competitive. This paper examined the effect of technological innovation on profitability and customer satisfaction performance of star rated hotels in Ghana. Methodology: The study used a quantitative approach and a descriptive research design. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires to 450 managers of hotels in Ghana and a response rate of 96% (432) was generated. Abstract: The fourth industrial revolution has brought many advantages and also posed new challenges for start-ups. Connecting with customers via social media helps start-ups reach and communicate effectively about new products and services with customers. However, to date there is only little research focusing on the role of social media for the performance of start-ups. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze factors that effect on customers' intention to purchase new products and services supplied by start-ups. To reach the end, this research applied quantitative methods and PLS-SEM approach with the data collected via a questionnaire survey and analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results showed that customers' perception of benefits positively influences and perception of inconveniences negatively effect on their attitude towards products or services of start-ups via social media, which in turns impact on their intention to purchase. In the same vein, customers' attitude towards products or services of start-ups via social media positively effects on their intention to purchase.....

Abstract: The study provides insights on analysis of contributions of women occupational activities on the growth of their business ventures in Nyambene region of Kenya. The study assessed the undertakings of women business activities; established viable unexploited entrepreneurial opportunities for investment and determined training opportunities to boost women entrepreneurial competencies within the region. The respondents were 142 women entrepreneurs picked randomly from their business premises. Through survey, the study significantly concluded that although majority of women entrepreneurs in the region engaged into different business ventures that were profitable they rarely engaged into some male dominated businesses. Moreover, women entrepreneurs deserve standardised training in value addition for their local products, book keeping, and preparation of business plans, conflict resolution and risk mitigations.

Abstract: Manufacturing - Construction enterprises have played an important role in the success of development and growth of countries. Hence, Manufacturing - Construction enterprises development is very essential. The purpose of this study is to analyze Manufacturing - Construction enterprises development in Thai Nguyen province, Vietnam. Secondary data in the period between 2014 and 2017 was collected from Thai Nguyen statistics office. Data was analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the article have shown that the number of Manufacturing-Construction enterprises increased steadily in the period from 2014 to 2017 in Thai Nguyen province. The internal structure of the industry has shifted, but the speed is still slow when the turnover of metal and mining enterprises still accounts for a high proportion commensurate with the potential.
