Abstract: Different diagnostic imaging modalities, such as ultrasonography (US), MRI, MR arthrography (MRA) are commonly used for the characterisation of rotator cuff (RC) disorders. Since the most recent systematic reviews on medical imaging, multiple diagnostic studies have been published, most using more advanced technological characteristics. This study assessed the role of USG and compared its findings with those of MRI. A cross-sectional study was conducted at Mahatma GandhiHospital, which included 52 patients with shoulder abnormalities. After taking informed written consent the patients underwent sonographic evaluation followed by MRI. The imaging findings were then compared. In our study maximum number of patients were in age bracket of 20-60 years. The most common clinical complaint was pain. The sonographic and MRI findings were then compared. The diagnostic accuracy of sonography and MRI was 99% and 100% respectively.

Abstract: Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) is a group of inherited autosomal recessive disorders characterized by a defect in one of the five enzymes responsible for cortisol biosynthesis. Seizures is one of the rare complications encountered in cases of CAH. Seizures in CAH have been ascribed to fever(febrile seizures), hypoglycemia and hyponatremia. Recent studies have shown excess secretion of Corticotropin-releasing-factor(CRF) under stress may also lead to seizure activity. Case Report: A 6-year-old female child presented with complaints of fever, vomiting and one episode of seizure activity. First episode of seizure occurred at the age of 1.5 years followed by recurrent episodes of seizures at 2.5 yrs, 3 yrs, 4.5 yrs and now at 6 yrs.......

Abstract: Trauma to deciduous anterior tooth can result in damage to the underlying permanent successor tooth leading to dilaceration and it ends in tooth being impacted. Management of dilacerated tooth can cause great difficulty to the clinician which usually ends in extraction of such tooth. This article put forward two case reports describing the management of impacted permanent anterior teeth with dilaceration by surgical repositioning.

Abstract: Introduction Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (GTD) encompassesa spectrum of disorders that are characterized by abnormal trophoblast proliferation and secretion of abnormal levels of the hormone HCG.GTD lesions are distinct and they can be benign or malignant.Benign lesions consist of hydatidiform moles- completeand partial. Malignant lesions include invasive mole, placental site trophoblastic tumour(PSTT) and choriocarcinoma. Molar pregnancy(Complete or partial) is the most common form of GTD.1 Aims and Objective The aim of the study was to review all cases of molar pregnancy detected on ultrasound admitted to a tertiary care institute in a twoyear periodand to study the incidence, clinical presentation, management, complications and outcome of these cases...........

Abstract: Pyogenic granuloma is a relatively rare complication of strabismus surgery with its etiology being unclear. They tend to occur due to iatrogenic stimulus to the conjunctiva such as, after trauma or transconjunctival incisions in procedures such as pterygium, incision and curettage of chalazion, squint surgery and transconjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty. We report a case of pyogenic granuloma with superadded staphylococcus infection. Only two such similar cases, after our extensive literature search, have been documented. This raises strong possibility that a chronic underlying infection can lead to formation of pyogenic granuloma in post squint correction surgeries.
