Abstract: Introduction: In recent decades adolescent pregnancy has become an important health issue in a great number of countries, both developed and developing. Adolescence is a period of rapid physical, emotional, cognitive and social growth and development. Generally adolescence begins at age 11-12 years and ends between 18 and 21. Objective: To assess the outcome of clinical profile and epidemiology of adolescent pregnancy and labour. Materials and Methods: This is a prospective case control study was carried out in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of 300 Bed Hospital, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. Fifty (50) pregnant women of 15 to 19 years case group and fifty (50) pregnant women of 20 to 35 years control group who were admitted in hospital from January to June-2019. The type of study followed was a prospective case control study where patients belonging to 15 to 19 years age group constitute the cases and those belonging to 20-35 years age group constitute the control group.........

Abstract: The growing increase in the number of breast surgeries has resulted in an increased need for anesthetic techniques with improved pain reduction, safety, and fewer complications.
• The regional anesthesia technique like Pecs block is employed for postoperative pain management in breast surgeries under general anesthesia, and not as the primary anesthesia

Abstract: Cigarette smoking is a well-established risk factor for periodontal and oral related disease. It causes harm to the oral cavity majorly affecting the soft tissues – periodontium and oral mucosa and the hard tissues – teeth[1]. Periodontitis is a group of inflammatory diseases which affects the supporting tissues of the tooth - periodontium. The components of periodontium are: gingiva, alveolar bone and periodontal ligaments. Tobacco smoking is one of the modifiable risk factors and has enormous influence on the development, progress and treatment results of periodontal disease[2]. The relationship between smoking and periodontal health was found as early as the middle of last century. Smoking is an independent risk factor for the initiation, extent and severity of periodontal disease. Additionally, smoking can lower the chances for successful oral and other treatment.

Abstract: Aim: This study aims to evaluate the root canal morphology of the human mandibular permanent second molar to determine the root canal morphology according to Vertucci's classification using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and Decalcification & Dye- Penetration technique. A comparative study also has been performed to analyze the accuracy of CBCT taking the Decalcification technique as the reference standard. Materials and Methods: Root canal morphology of 100 (n=100) human permanent mandibular 2nd molars was evaluated by CBCT, then the teeth were subjected to Decalcification (by HNO3) and Die-Penetration (Indian Ink) processes for comparative evaluation of root canal morphology.....

Abstract: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: The aims and objectives of the study are: 1. To evaluate the anterior urethra stricture in males using sonourethrography. 2. To determine the efficacy of sonourethrography in measuring the location, length, and luminal diameter of anterior urethral stricture compared to retrogradeurethrography using intra-operative findings as gold standard. 3. To assess the ability of sonourethrography to detect spongiofibrosis and other periurethral abnormalities. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study conducted was a prospective....

Abstract: Opioid Free Anesthesia is an attractive technique of anesthesia whose purpose is the non-use of opioids whether in systemic, neuraxial or intra-cavitary. Opioids are known for there side effects especially in pathological ground like obesity, respiratory diseases, sleep apnea and others. after consultation with my head doctor, we decided during the anesthesia consultation to perform this anesthesia technique for a sleeve gastric intervention by laparoscopy in a patient with a history of obstructive sleep apnea and obesity.....

Abstract: Background – Warts or Verrucae are the infection of skin and mucosae caused by human papilloma virus. Majority of therapeutic modalities for warts are unsatisfactory. Immunotherapy is an emerging and promising modality. Aims and Objectives: To study the relative efficacy of intralesional MMR vaccine versus intralesional Vit D3 in the treatment of multiple verrucae vulgaris. Materials and Methods: 50 patients with multiple(>6) common warts were enrolled and were randomly divided into two groups with 25 patients in each group.....

Abstract: The existence of a cataract is very common during the management of corneal pathologies, hence the interest of combined surgery on both the cornea and the lens. If a total corneal transplant is chosen, two solutions are possible: either perform the cataract surgery and the transplant at the same time (we speak of a triple procedure), or transplant the cornea without touching the lens and then operate the cataract a few months later (this is called sequential surgery). The aim of our work is to share our experience in triple procedure (extraction+ implantation+ corneal graft) and to report it's anatomical and functional results.....
