Abstract: Background: Proper management of factory floor resources have fundamental importance for the financial health and survival of the companies. Organizations that work with high levels of waste lose competitiveness due to constantly directing their efforts and investments into corrections instead of new technologies. Waste must be studied and eliminated or mitigated to guarantee the generation of profit.
