Abstract: Pseudocyesis is a condition which is more commonly reported in a developing country. The patient with such a condition is commonly seen by obstetricians they report to them frequently with or without the clinical features of pregnancy but the doctor will not be able to have any confirmation of the presence of a foetus. The literature on delusions of pregnancy in schizophrenia is however scanty. We hereby present a case of delusion of pregnancy. The case highlights the possibility of delusion of pregnancy if a patient presents with features suggestive of pseudocyesis.

Abstract: Introduction: Esophageal cancer (EC) is the eighth most common cancer worldwide and the sixth leading cause of death from cancer. The Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) trial 85-01 established the superiority of concurrentchemoradiationtherapy(CCRT) compared with radiotherapy (RT) alone in esophageal cancer patients.Capecitabine is an example of a rationally designed 5-FU pro-drug intended to mimic the continuous infusion of 5-FU while avoiding the complications and inconvenience associated with IV drug administration.Unfortunately so far, no standard treatment modality has been established for inoperable EC in elderly patients.......

Abstract: Leiomyoma is the most common of all uterine and pelvic tumors. The incidence of leiomyoma is 20% in the reproductive age group, and only 1-2% are found in the cervix [1].They can change the shape of the cer-vix or may lengthen it. A central cervical fibroid is usually either interstitial or sub mucous in origin and usually arises from supravaginal portion of the cervix so that it expands the cervix equally in all directions and can dis-place uterine vessels & ureters. On laparotomy it can be recognized at once, as it fills pelvis, with uterus on top of tumour like "The Lantern on the top of St. Pauls dome".

Abstract: Transverse deficiency is most common skeletal change on maxilla which may lead to serious health issues. This article aims to overview the palatal expansion modifications and describes the efforts to encourage the growth of the maxilla in transversal direction with different methods. Discussed are factors to be considered prior to expansion, as well as effects on maxillary complex, maxillary teeth, palatal vaults, nasal volume, pharyngeal airways and extraoral features. SARPE and MARPE as treatment modalities are well established, promoted important occlusal benefits, showed good success rate and has been considered as an alternative for adult patients.

Abstract: Background:The aim of the study was to compare the efficacy (duration and area of analgesia) in intraosseous anesthesia after infiltration of three different anesthetic solutions. Material and Methods: The object of the study were 36 clinically healthy patients with carious lesions on vital mandibular first or second molars, divided into 3 groups: 1st group-intraosseous infiltration of 0.9 mL 3% Mepivacaine (n = 12); 2nd group-0.9 mL 4% Articaine with 1: 200,000 Epinephrine (n = 12); 3rd group- 0.9 mL of 4% Articaine with 1: 100,000 Epinephrine (n = 12). All patients were anesthetized using the Quicksleeper system by following the manifacturer's protocol for performing mandibular intraosseous anesthesia. Pulp anesthesia of first and second molars, premolars and canines were evaluated with the Logipex 5 at 5 min intervals after.....

Abstract: Ekbom's syndrome is infestation of insects but here a delusion is seen where the patient believes that he has sand in his mouth which is not seen, but felt. Delusional parasitosis is characterised by a belief that the person is infested with insects in his body. Sometimes the patient may believe that his surroundings are infested with insects. Repeated treatments will not satisfy the patient. A 78 year old male, with no history of any underlying medical or neurological cause presented with complaints of having mud in his mouth which resulted in frequent visits to the orthodontist due to the same complaint and drastic measures to arrest the same. Atypical presentation of the disorder best suiting the diagnostic criteria of delusional disorder. Inter-disciplinary management approach for the same.

Abstract: Neonatal sepsis is the single most important cause for neonatal deaths in developing countries specially in preterm and Very low birth babies. If diagnosed early and treated it is possible to save most of the neonates but neonatal sepsis remains a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for neonatal care giver.Sepsis is defined as SIRS(systemic inflammatory response syndrome) resulting from a suspected or proven infectious etiology. The clinical spectrum of sepsis begins when a systemic(eg.bacteremia.......

Abstract: Background: Root canal shaping is a crucial procedure in endodontic treatment that influences the subsequent steps of root canal disinfection and obturation. Each clinical situation is different and unique, but the final goal remains identical, which is to preserve the natural tooth functional, asymptomatic and achieve proper canal disinfection. Materials and Methods: Forty human permanent mandibular first molars were selected with mature apices having angles of curvature of the mesiobuccal canals ranging between 20° to 40° degrees from the buccal view. Samples were randomly and equally distributed......
