Abstract: Succinylcholine is a depolarizing neuromuscular block that has been routinely used for rapid sequence intubation for emergency surgery although it has some side effects like dysrhythmia, myalgia, masseter spasm, hyperkalaemia etc.According to current evidence, COVID-19 is recognized as a multiorgan disease with a broad spectrum of clinical presentationsWe present here a case study of a man with COVID-19 who developed hyperkalaemia induced sudden severe bradycardia following administration of succinylcholine during rapid sequence endotracheal intubation for emergency exploratory laparotomy

Abstract: Background: Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers that affect women and is an important public health challenge. There were an estimated 6,04,000 new cases and about 3,42,000 women died of cervical cancer in 2020. There are several associated risk factors that have been identified and most of them are modifiable, making cervical cancer a preventable problem. College students are at an impressionable age and assessing their awareness regarding cervical cancer and its prevention would serve as a first step in identifying gaps in knowledge and sensitizing them to play an important role in cancer prevention. Materials and Methods: Questionnaire......

Abstract: Background: Myopia is a common disorder estimated to affect approximately 1.6 billion people worldwide. It is defined as a refractive condition in which the image of a distant object is formed anterior to the retina of the unaccommodated (relaxed) eye. Objective:Evaluation of anti–vascular endothelial growth factor therapy in myopic choroidal neovascularization using optical coherence tomography angiography by detecting the changes of shape, size, and flow area. Patients and methods:The study........

Abstract: Introduction: Union dental anomalies include dental fusion, which arises through the union of two normally separate dental germs. Some authors suggest a multidisciplinary treatment in patients with fused teeth, performing root canal treatment and veneers. Treatment options depend on several factors, such as the type of anomalies; root development; age and compliance of the patient; and the morphology of the pulp chamber and the canal. Case report: This report is about a case of dental fusion in lower incisors, treated orthodontically with first premolar extractions.........

Abstract: The rise in cases of infections resulting from the bacteria has created the need for more investigation to be done. In addition, conditions from the bacteria are common in critically ill patients and those immune-compromised individuals; thus, it isprimarily an opportunistic pathogen. Patients at risk can also be given antibiotics for prophylaxis to prevent them fromcontracting the infection. For those patients who have infections from pseudomonas aeruginosa, frequent assessment shouldbe done to note the progress of the diseases and determine the effectiveness of the drugs; this will also help detect resistancetothedrug..

Abstract: Vaginal agenesis is a very rare malformation which has an estimated incidence of 1 in 4000-5000 live female child births .This is the most traumatic congenital anomaly. It can occur as an isolated development defect or may be associated with other anomalies mostly Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser Syndrome. This syndrome is one of the common cause of primary amenorrhea. In this syndrome there is absence of uterus and upper 2/3 rd of vagina with 46xx karyotype and normal physiological growth of secondary sexual features. Its incidence is 1 in 4000 live births. Isolated congenital vaginal atresia is a rare congenital anomaly of female reproductive tract due to failure......

Abstract: Background: Intertrochanteric fractures constitute a major public health burden. Surgical treatment is the gold standard for the age. The most commonly done surgery nowadays is PFN which has good results as well as lots of complications. One of the cause attributed is geometric mismatch in some selected populations. The PFN AII device was recently introduced and appears to be better suited to the typical Asian patient who has smaller femurs. Objectives: - To measure and compare Modified Harris Hip Score,Time For Post-Operative Full Weight Bearing Mobilisation, Time For Radiological Evidence Of Union, Complications After Surgery by using proximal femoral nail.....

Abstract: Objective:toevaluate fracture resistance ceramic endocrown versus ceramic overlay with resin core in endodontically treated teeth. Materials and Methods:28 epoxy dies were divided into two groups, group 1 (n14) is restored by ceramic endocrown and the group 2 (n14) is restored by occlussal overlay with resin core. Each group is subdivided into two subgroups with two different computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) materials, the subgroup A (n7) with lithium......

Abstract: Study Design: Prospective study Objective: To analyze acetabular cup placement and functional outcome in Total Hip Replacement (THR) Methods: Total 30 patients were selected for the study. These were assessed based on the CT examination of the pelvis for acetabular cup positioning based on anteversion angle and inclination angle. The patient's functional outcome was also analysed based on Harris Hip Score. Patients were followed up post operatively every month for a period of 24 Months. The results were compared and analyzed in these randomly selected patients. Result: On comparison of......
