Abstract: Backgrounds: Most of Indonesian people do not realize that dental and oral health problems are caused by behavioral factors that often ignore dental and oral hygiene. This oral hygiene behavior can occur due to lack of knowledge about the importance of maintaining oral health. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the age and gender of the respondents on the behavior of maintaining oral health.\ Materials and Methods: The type of research is descriptive correlational research with cross sectional design. The sampling technique in this study is the proportional stratified random sampling method. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire.....

Abstract: Duodenal ulcer perforation /penetration into liver causing intrahepatic abscess is a rare event. To the best of our knowledge only 6 cases of intrahepatic abscess due to perforated duodenal ulcers has been reported. Our case will be the seventh one. We have presented a case of intrahepatic abscess secondary to a perforated duodenal ulcer diagnosed by endoscopy, which we were able to completely resolve by repeated percutaneous drainage of abscess and anti H. pylori eradication therapy.

Abstract: Background: Swimming requires several overhead movement patterns, involving nonstop humeral circumduction in clockwise and untoward clockwise directions. subacromial pain pattern is else known as swoon’s pattern. Subacromial smash pattern has been setup to be most common opinion for shoulder joint. NPRS and posterior shoulder abidance test were used as an outgrowth measure. The purpose of the study to compare the effectiveness of throwers ten exercise versus high intensity shoulder abduction exercise of the patients with subacromial impingement syndrome among swimmers.......

Abstract: Summary: Carotid-cavernous fistula is an abnormal communication between the carotid arterial system and the cavernous sinus. The most frequent origin is congenital, due to arteriovenous malformations, but it can also be posttraumatic. This is a rare condition, which can be life-threatening and visually disabling. We report the case of a 77-year-old patient with a right carotid-cavernous fistula, whose ophthalmological complaint was revealing. Radiological examination was necessary to confirm the diagnosis and initiate urgent therapeutic management.

Abstract: Background: Medical profession is considered to be one of the most stressful curriculums. The course is mentally and physically demanding for its extensive curriculum. The first year in medical college poses many new challenges for the incoming student, requiring major adjustments to their lifestyle. Chronic stress is associated with poorer cognitive function, accelerated cognitive decline and increased risk of dementia. This study was taken up to assess the stress level among first year MBBS medical students using Medical Student Stressor Questionnaire (MMSQ) and its effect on their cognitive function using Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA).....

Abstract: Background: Given the high incidence of diabetes as a comorbidity in COVID-19, vaccination against SARSCoV-2 is deemed a priority for this population. In this prospective longitudinal study, 19 individuals with T2DM and 16 apparently healthy individuals were assessed prior to receiving the first dose, 4 weeks after the first dose, and 2-4 weeks after the second dose of the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine to evaluate the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-specific IgG for humoral immune responses and to evaluate the T-cell mediated immune responses, IFN-γ and IL-2 secreting PBMCs against the SARS-CoV-2 BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine were assessed and compared......

Abstract: Introduction: A mucocele appears as a well-rounded, circumscribed painless swelling ranging from deep blue to mucosa alike in colour. It is a mucus filling cavity that can appear anywhere in the oral cavity. Mucoceles rarely resolve on their own and surgical removal under local anaesthesia is required in most cases. A multitude of treatment options exists in the literature, including cryosurgery, intra-lesion injection of corticosteroid, micromarsupialization and conventional surgical excision using a scalpel, and laser ablation. The purpose of this Case Report is to present the treatment of a mucocele present on the lower lip in a patient who was treated using Electrocautery, the advantages and disadvantages of this mode of treatment when compared with various treatment options for the mucocele.....

Abstract: Introduction: Music-Supported Therapy (MST) has been developed recently to improve the use of the affected upper extremity after stroke. MST may involve playing musical instruments, to retrain fine and gross movements of the paretic upper extremity. Music-supported therapy has shown to induce improvements in motor skills in stroke survivors Therefore; this research was focused on finding the effect of music supported therapy (MST) on upper extremity function in chronic stroke patients Objectives: To study the effect of Music Supported Therapy (MST) on upper extremity functions in subjects with chronic stroke....
