Abstract: In december 2019 in wuhan, china, a new type of coronavirus emerged, named by the world health organization as sars-cov-2, causing the disease covid-19. In a short time, this virus spread and caused the biggest pandemic of the 21st century. Due to this pandemic scenario, numerous researches were carried out on sars-cov-2, concluding that this virus is an enveloped rna virus with a genome consisting of a single-stranded positive-sense rna molecule. Work was carried out on the development of vaccines against covid-19, with the coronavac, astrazeneca/oxford, pfizer/biontech and janssen vaccines being approved in brazil. However, a portion of the population questions how these vaccines work and whether there really are more benefits than harm to their application. This article aims to analyze......

Abstract: Background: HSP is named after Henoch and Schönlein, but William Heberden 1st described this disorder in the early 1800s.1 Major difference is that IgA vasculitis with nephritis occurs in children aged below 15 years, and IgA nephropathy is seen in patients aged above 15 years. IgA vasculitis with nephritis patients present with various extrarenal symptoms, but IgA nephropathy patients present with hematuria. Histology findings in IgA vasculitis with nephritis show capillary staining and glomerular injury more compared to IgA nephropathy. Environmental, genetic factors, and antigenic factors contribute to the cause of IgA vasculitis. And there was an association with HLA haplotypes......

Abstract: Background: cognitive impairment and dementia are frequently seen in the end stage renal disease (esrd) population who were on maintenance hemodialysis. It negatively affects daily functioning ability, poorly affects health-related quality of life, and non-adherence to hemodialysis therapy. Saint louis university mental status exam (slums) can be a better cognitive impairment detecting tool than the mmse.as per our knowledge, no studies were done using the slums tool for the maintenance hemodialysis (mhd) population to analyze cognitive impairment.......

Abstract: Bilateral multilocular large epididymal cysts are a rare entity with few cases reported in the literature. Epididymal cysts are mostly found in middle-aged men with or without symptoms. We present the case of a 40-year-old man with asymptomatic bilateral scrotal swelling, which was clinically diagnosed as bilateral epididymal cyst. On investigations, an ultrasound of the scrotum revealed bilateral epididymal cysts with normal testes. Intraoperatively, it demonstrated bilateral huge epididymal cysts for which the patient underwent excision of bilateral epididymal cysts. Postoperatively, the patient is doing well on follow-up. Thus, it is concluded that when the epididymal cyst is larger than 1-2 cm and does not involute with time or is symptomatic, surgery is indicated.

Abstract: Urinoma is peripelvic extravasation of urine seen as a sequel of urinary trauma or stones. Urinoma is very rare in pregnancy. Urinoma can present as acute abdomen in pregnancy. Herewith, we are presenting a case of urinoma in pregnancy who presented to niloufer hospital, hyderabad at 12 weeks of gestation. We are describing how regular antenatal checkups, multidisciplinary approach throughout antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum period helped us in delivering a healthy baby together with keeping the mother in good health. Hence, prompt followup during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum period using multidisciplinary approach helped in preventing adverse events.

Abstract: Background: The Foramen magnum is an important landmark present at the base of the skull. The vital structures passing through it are medulla oblongata, meninges, anterior and posterior spinal arteries, vertebral arteries, and spinal accessory nerves. The foramen magnum dimensions are important because there may be compression of the structures during meningiomas, achondroplasia, and herniation. Hence thorough knowledge of foramen magnum is required. The development of a particular shape of the foramen magnum is explained based on embryology data. It may be caused.....

Abstract: Conn's syndrome is a rare condition which is caused by increased aldosterone production with the culprit commonly being an aldosterone secreting adenoma of the adrenal gland. Conn's syndrome account for 0.05% to 2% of patients with secondary hypertension. Compared to primary hypertension, primary hyperaldosteronism causes more end-organ damage and is associated with excess cardiovascular morbidity, heart failure, stroke, non-fatal myocardial infarction, and atrial fibrillation. Cardiovascular morbidities can be mitigated by the means of simple and readily.......

Abstract: Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has changed the future for implant applications, providing in-depth 3D scans with much lower doses of radiation. CBCT as pre-and postoperative assessment enables clinicians to make highly accurate implant planning and placement. Unlike conventional CT scanners, this system offers several benefits, cost efficiency, compactness, and fine spatial resolution. Associated complications include removing of metal artifacts and the management of radiation dose. Continuous development is ongoing, aiming to improve image quality and dose reduction. AI in dentistry brings its transformation success with CBCT, offering more efficient diagnosis as well as personalized treatment

Abstract: Background Endourology has relatively matured in the area of adult disease conditions but has remained largely under-developed with respect to paediatric endourology. This is mainly due to our resource-poor environment in developing countries. Cystoscopy is the endoscopic visualization of both the urethra and bladder while ureteroscopy is the visualization of the ureter. Both of these procedures are important in making a diagnosis or effecting a treatment.....

It is an indicator of poor health and poor nutrition. It is associated with increased mortality and morbidity among children. If not identified and treated at this stage it will affect physical growth ,mental development, school performance and immunity during their childhood. Abstract: Periodontal diseases are responsible for tissue destruction which leads to periodontal breakdown. Various destructive enzymes and inflammatory mediators are involved in destruction. Mechanical therapy along with various chemotherapeutic agents such as NSAIDS, Doxycycline, etc aids in managing periodontitis. Host Modulating agents aims to focus on the reduction of tissue destruction by modifying or decreasing the regulating destructive aspects of the host response and upregulating protective or regenerated responses.
