Abstract: Background: Aloe is a succulent plant known for its diverse medicinal properties, traditionally used in wound healing, anti-inflammatory, and skin care treatments. The bioactive compounds present in both the gel and skin of Aloe vera, including polyphenols, are believed to contribute to its therapeutic effects. Despite its widespread use, there is a need for scientific validation of its potential antithrombotic and antioxidant activities, which could support the development of new functional biomaterials for medical applications. Materials and Methods: In vitro biological activities of Aloe vera gel and skin extracts were evaluated. The total polyphenol content of Aloe vera skin was measured. Antioxidant activities were assessed using DPPH radical scavenging and superoxide......

Abstract: Edentulism is acknowledged as a physical impairment that greatly impairs diet, communication, self-esteem, and perceived beauty. Traditionally, patients who have lost all of their teeth have commonly been treated with complete dentures. However, these patients often face challenges such as reduced ability to keep the dentures in place, lack of stability, and difficulty in chewing due to ongoing loss of bone in the upper jaw. These issues have a negative impact on their overall oral health and quality of life [1]. Alternatively, opting for implant-supported overdentures......

Abstract: Nicolau Syndrome, also known as skin reaction embolism, is a rare but serious complication associated with the improper conversion of calcium hydroxide during endodontic treatment. This inflammation can cause serious side effects such as blood clots, tissue damage, and skin necrosis once the substance enters the bloodstream. Despite its seriousness, this condition rarely occurs during root canal treatment. Calcium hydroxide has been a mainstay of root canal treatment for many years, but its adverse effects on nearby vital structures pose significant......

Abstract: Background: acl reconstruction has been described using a variety of approaches till date ranging from open to arthroscopic.the most often used graft in acl reconstruction was bone-patellar tendon-bone graft. However, issues with the knees extensor function loss of mobility, patellar instability and continued presence of anterior knee function have forced surgeons to consider alternate graft materials for use in acl reconstruction. The objective of our study is to compare functional outcome of arthroscopic acl reconstruction with autologous hamstrings tendon graft versus autologous quadriceps tendon graft. Abstract: Background: Primary insomnia is defined as sleep difficulties that affect day-time functioning. Its prevalence rates for the general adult population are approximately 1%-10% and elderly population is up to 25%. Deep Relaxation Technique (DRT) is guided relaxation technique in yogic practices. There are no scientific evidences available for DRT on primary insomnia. This is to find out the effect of Deep Relaxation Technique on Sleep Quality in Primary Insomnia. Materials and Methods: This is a randomized controlled trial with sample size of 80. Subjects will be divided into two group namely, intervention.......
