Abstract: Background: Anatomical single bundle arthroscopic Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction has been the standard treatment for ACL injured patients. It is a minimally invasive procedure that allows the surgeon to understand the internal derangements of the knee joint. ACL is the commonly injured ligament in young adults. The purpose of Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction is to restore the normal kinematics of knee joint Aim: To evaluate the Clinical outcome of Arthroscopic Anatomical ACL reconstruction using single bundle Hamstring tendon............

Abstract: caesarean section is an important and common surgical procedure which is often required to save lives of mother and baby. The WHO recommends that they should be done based on medical need. The incidence is rising in most parts of the world with an increase in number of " previous caesarean section ". In US caesarean section rates have increased from over 20% in 1996 to 33% in 2011. The WHO officially withdrew its previous recommendation of a 25% caesarean section rate in June 2010.Their official statement read,"There is no empirical evidence for an optimum percentage, what matters most is that all women who need caesarean sections receive them ". Conventionally caesarean sections are classified as being either an elective or an emergency operation........

Abstract: Introduction: Traumatic brain injury occurs when external force injures the brain which may include falls, violence and vehicle collisions leading to more diffuse injury causing cognitive and neuro psychiatric disturbances. Cerebroprotein hydrolysate is a peptide preparation with similar action as neurotrophic factors thus improving neurogenesis in cases of traumatic brain injury. Objectives: We attempt to determine the beneficiary effects of cerebroprotein hydrolysate and its clinical outcome in management of traumatic brain injuries in our institution...........

Abstract: Introduction: Fatigue is a subjective feeling of tiredness which is distinct from weakness, and has a gradual onset. Unlike weakness, fatigue can be alleviated by periods of rest. Fatigue can have physical or mental causes.
Fatigue (either physical, mental or both) is a symptom that may be difficult for the patient to describe and words like lethargic, exhausted and tired may be used. Materials And Methods: 250 Patients attending OP with a complaint of fatigue in various Medical College Hospitals are taken in for study. After getting consent. A questionnaire was used to evaluate the patients. Study period was between 1st June to 30th June of 2017...........

Abstract: Body weight and overt thyroid dysfunction are associated ,although the effect of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism on body weight have been clearly demonstrated there is no Sufficient data on the relationship between body mass index and minor differences within the normal range of thyroid hormones .This study was carried out to investigate the relationship of fluctuations of triiodothyronine (t3) with body mass index in euthyroid subject. 90 blood samples were collected from euthyroid healthy individual of known age , gender , weight , height and biochemical picture of triiodothyronine(t3).............

Abstract: Background: Introduction of laparoscopic surgery was a revolution in the field of surgery. Despite many benefits, the technique is associated with certain complications including port site infection. Port site infection, although less common is annoying both for the surgeon and the patient, and cripple the benefits of minimally invasive surgery. Port site infection not only increases the economic burden, pain and hospital stay of patient but also harm the reputation of the attending surgeon and hospital. Unfortunately, there is a reflection that antibiotics can solve the situation leading to misuse of antibiotics and evolution of multi drug resistant strains of microorganisms..............

Abstract: Background :The principal aim of drug utilization studies is to facilitate rational use of drugs in patients. .Irrational use of antibiotics has resulted in the development of drug resistant organisms in the community. Significant changes in the antibiotic prescription pattern are required to decrease the prevalence of antibiotic resistance. This in turn gives rise to the need for scrutinizing the prescribing pattern of antibiotics by the physicians so as to ensure judicious use of antibiotics...........

Abstract: Gingival tissues have a significant impact on the outcome of restorative therapy. Crown lengthening is a procedure which involves partial removal of supporting periodontal structures to increase exposure of tooth structure. It is indicated in cases such as inadequate clinical crown height , subgingival caries, fracture ,unequal gingival heights. Lasers were introduced into the field of clinical dentistry with the hope of overcoming some of the drawbacks associated with conventional methods. Laser assisted tissue ablation results in adequate exposure of crown with reduced bleeding,........

Abstract: Any prevention policy can not be implemented without epidemiological studies. Without the epidemiological surveillance, it is impossible to put in place a cancer control plan adapted to our region. The objective of this work is to describe a cancer disease with an increasing incidence and which is becoming a serious public health problem. The parameters studied are age, sex, type of cancer and date of reporting of the disease. This epidemiological study shows that males are more affected than females, accounting for 60.3% and 39.7%, respectively, with a sex ratio equal to 0.65 (chi-square = 841.63, p≥0.0001 ). The most affected age groups are the [45-65 [years and ≥65 years..........

Abstract: Warm-e-meda/gastritis is the prime concern in unani medicine and unani physicians emphasized on better functioning of stomach/meda. Acute gastritis, chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, atrophic gastritis, gastric carcinoma, primary gastric B-cell lymphoma are some of the manifestation of H. pylori infection. An appreciable number of unani mufrad (single) and murakkab (compound) drugs are used to treat them. In this study we evaluate the efficacy of a unani compound drug in endoscopically proved H.pylori positive antral gastritis. This was a double blind randomised clinical trial, on 160 patients. All the patients were divided into three groups. Test group comprising of 110 patients............

Abstract: Background: Detailed knowledge of caries pattern is important since specific patterns of attack might indicate a distinct etiology and it is a useful source of reference for dental administrators in deciding which preventive strategies to use Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate in detail the distribution of caries lesions among tooth types and surfaces in the permanent dentition a young Turkish adult population with different risk levels. Materials and methods: This study was carried out on 600 young adults (18-24 years old) of both genders between April 2012 and September 2013.
