Abstract: Resume Au milieu du 20ème siècle, l'unique traitement d'une tumeur osseuse était l'amputation.

Abstract: Gingival fibromatosis (GF) is a rare and benign genetic pathology, characterized by a slow and progressive fibrous hyperplasia of the marginal, attached and papillary gingiva. Its appearance is most often related to the eruption of temporary and/or permanent teeth. It is pathology with variable severity; it can partially or totally cover the dental crowns, generating an aesthetic prejudice and numerous functional problems such as malocclusions, difficulties in mastication and traumatic ulcerations. It can be isolated (autosomal dominant transmission) or associated with several individualized syndromes to which are added numerous extra-oral signs (mental retardation, hypertrichosis, hepatosplenomegaly, epilepsy...). The dental surgeon plays a key role in its diagnosis and management. The treatment of this disorder is mainly surgical. This work aims to describe this little known pathology and its management through the illustration of a case managed at the University Hospital of Sidi bel Abbes..

Abstract: India alone accounts for one-fourth of global burden of cervical cancers. It is the commonest malignancy in female population in rural India.Usually it present in a locally advanced stage[1].Chemoradiotherapy usually the treatment of choice for locally advanced stage[1,2].The main aim of this study is to find out the prognostic factors which are most important for treatment outcome & survival. It is a retrospective study done in the department of Radiotherapy in a rural based medical college of west Bengal (Bankura sammilani medical college & Hospital Bankura) from september 2008 to august2013. A total of three hundred fifty six patients were included in this retrospective study. Patients were treated with Radical radiotherapy with concomitant cisplatin...

Abstract: On March 11, 2020 World Health Organization (WHO) declared corona virus disease (COVID-19) a public health emergency of international concern since its outbreak in Wuhan, China.1Coronaviruses are enveloped RNA viruses that are distributed widely among humans, other mammals and birds and they cause respiratory, neurologic, hepatic and enteric diseases.2,3 Six coronavirus species are known to cause human disease and four of them - 229E, OC43, NL63, and HKU1 are less pathogenic causing common cold symptoms in immunocompetent individuals.4The two other strains - severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) - are zoonotic in origin and sometimes causes fatal illness.5 Towards the end of 2019, a novel mutation of coronavirus (labelled as SARS-CoV2) was identified as the cause of a severe respiratory.........

Abstract: Objective: A regular collection of cytology specimens from bronchoalveolar washing is expected to increase the ability of bronchoscopy to diagnose lung cancer. However, we aimed to study the sensitivity of cytology washing tests for diagnosing malignant lung lesions. Methods: This is a retrospective study including 68 patients who underwent different thoracic surgeries for lung cancer in St. Vincent University Hospital from June 2013 to March 2020. The results of all cytology specimens from bronchoalveolar washing were reviewed from the patients' files.....

Abstract: Background : Soft tissue tumours (STTs) have various presentations depending on their tumor site and size; they may be accompanied by swelling, pain, tenderness, or motion impairment and are classified by their origin as muscular, fatty, fibrous, neural, vascular, or synovial. STTs frequently occur in the limbs, and the thigh is the most commonly affected site. However the characterization of musculoskeletal soft tissue lesions is challenging as most malignant, benign and non-neoplastic soft tissue lesions following trauma or inflammation have similar presentations. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used to accurately detect the anatomical extent of musculoskeletal Soft tissue tumours . The technique is important in STT......

Abstract: Background :This study is on the effect of aqueous extract of Abelmoschusesculentus on the epididymis of male adult Wister rats on the body weight. Materials and Methods :Twenty one adult male wistar rats weighing 100-120g were assigned into three groups (A, B and C). Group A for control received standard grower feed and water, Group B for low dose received food, water and aqueous of Abelmoschusesculentus at a dose of 1.0mg/KgBw and Group C for high dose received food, water and aqueous extract of Abelmoschusesculentus at a dose of 3.0mg/kgBw. Administration was done orally for two weeks. At the end of the administration, the body weight was recorded using sensitive weighing balance and the animals were sacrificed using cervical dislocation and the epididymis was harvested and preserved in 10% buffered formalin (NBF) followed by H&E staining. Result shows an observable.....

Abstract: Bisphosphonates are widely used in medical practice. Osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) was first reported in the dental literature in 2003. Eighteen years later, this pathology is still topical and increasingly publicized, particularly because of its disabling clinical consequences and the complexity of treatment. The objective of this work is to focus on this pathology which is disabling , very difficult to treat and to show that preventive treatment based on patient information in relation to the risks of this therapy ,the restoration of the oral cavity before the introduction of bisphosphonate treatment and the eviction of avulsions except in extreme cases of mobility remains the only way to avoid this complication.

Abstract: Most common genitourinary malignancy in men & the third most common known cause of death in men – "Prostate cancer" (1). The multiparametric (Mp-MRI) approach using 3 different techniques, T2-weighted (T2W) MRI, diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) improve the diagnostic accuracy (3). Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS) has been purposed by European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) , the body has called a panel of experts in February 2012 and published a guideline providing recommendations for the performance of mp-MRI investigations......
