Abstract:Introduction: Seizures are the most common neurological emergency in infants. They need immediate management to prevent morbidity & mortality. Febrile seizures, defined as fever provoked seizures in children 6 months to 5 years of age, are most common type of seizures in children. We described fever provoked seizures in young infants aged 1 to 6 months. Method: Study was conducted as a prospective observational study of 109 young infants, aged 1 to 6 months with seizures, over 2 years period from 2016 to 2018 in a tertiary care children hospital in Kashmir to find the aetiology of seizures. Results: We found......

Abstract: Acute hemiparesis is often an early presentation of acute stroke, although it can occur in the setting of various disorders such as hypoglycemia. We analyzed the clinical and radiological data of 6 patients initially misdiagnosed with cerebral stroke seen in the emergency department between January 2015 and November 2016. Their ages ranged from 30 to 82 years, they presented to the emergency department for a hemiplegia less than 4.5 hours, with a blood glucose <50 mg/dL. All patients were diabetic on insulin therapy, their NIHSS scores ranged from 4 to 13. Four......

Abstract: Urogénital tuberculosis is a serious disease in full resurgence, which presents a major health problem in the majority of countries including industrialized countries. The urogenital localization of tuberculosis infection is quite rare. The unspecific urinary symptoms are sometimes responsible for the late diagnosis. In this work, we report the experience......

Abstract: Tumor reduction surgery (or consolidation surgery) in metastatic patients is increasingly considered in urology since the first work on kidney cancer or nephrectomy has become the rule in metastatic patients even before starting to other therapies. It is identically used, more recently, in the cancer of the prostate. However, the role of surgery in metastatic bladder cancer is not yet established in most retrospective uncontrolled studies. No relevant prospective randomized trial has been published on this subject. In the metastatic stage, systemic platinum-based chemotherapy is the standard treatment resulting in initial response rates of 40-70%, but long-term survival of less than 15% within 5 years. the aim of our......

Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the presently used protocol for immediate functional loading (within maximum 3 days) of one-piece implants which are placed according to the methods as prescribed by the IF. Materials and Methods: This prospective cohort study included totally 291 consecutively treated patients who receive 2193 immediately loaded one-piece Strategic Implant®, supporting fixed complete‑arch maxillary or mandibular metal‑ceramic bridges or segment reconstructions in both the jaws. All implants were placed by one treatment provider, who restored the tooth and followed up the patients over the years. Data was obtained from the panoramic radiographs......

Abstract:Intra-prostatic cysts are considered to be a rare condition, currently being discovered more and more frequently thanks to the development of imaging means. Median intra-prostatic cystic lesions should discuss 2 entities: Mullerian cysts and the utricle cyst. Congenital utricle cysts are retroprostatic medial and can compress the ejaculatory ducts. They are to be distinguished from other exceptional cystic malformations of the Wolff's ducts and of the urogenital sinus which may sit in the same place and into which the ejaculatory ducts can lead. We report the case of a 37-year-old patient, chronically smoker, who consulted for urinary tract disorders of the lower part of the body whose magnetic resonance imaging revealed a cyst of the prostate utricle.

Abstract: Résumé La maladie de Eales est rare (Fig. 1—2).

Abstract: Botox which is a FDA approved procedure has been widely used for cosmetic procedures to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. But lately Botox has seen a marked increase in dentistry due to its therapeutic benefits in a num-ber of dental conditions like temperomandibular joint disorders, bruxism, gummy smile etc to name a few. Or-thodontists have also taken help of Botox in a number of clinical conditions with relatively good results. The aim of this review is to present and discuss the mechanism of action, clinical applications in dentistry and orthodon-tics in particular, adverse effects and contradictions of Botox so as to help and guide the orthodontist make an informed choice on the versatile uses of Botox in dentistry and whether it can be considered as an adjunctive to traditional methods of dental treatment.

Abstract: Background: The use of resin composites has significantly expanded in clinical practice over recent years because of the increasing esthetic demands and advancement in composite technology. The introduction of nanoparticle-filled composites with improved mechanical, physical, and optical properties and clinical performance made possible the use of such materials for both the anterior and posterior restorations. Improper finishing and polishing of composite resins always present a problem to the dental practitioner. Advances in composite resin materials and the instruments used for finishing and polishing have revolutionized the art of aesthetic dentistry. This study utilizes the surface.......
