Abstract: Background Cardiovascular diseases are the leading c ause of premature death and disability in humans. Prompt identification and careful prevention of the underlying risk factors can significantly reduce the global epidemic of cardiovascular diseases. The Indian Diabetes Risk Score (IDRS) was initially developed as a simple tool to help detect undiagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus among South Indian population . Objectives: To determine the association between IDRS and cardiovascular risk factors among normoglycemic individuals Methodology : A total of 30 0 normoglycemic patients attending Medicine OPD who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were selected after obtaining informed written consent. Abstract: Le syndrome de Macleod est une maladie rare et complexe caractérisée par une hyperclarté radiographique d'un poumon, d'un lobe ou d'une partie d'un lobe (1-2) . En effet il s'agit d'une hypoplasie fonctionnelle unilatérale du système vasculaire pulmonaire et d'emphysème, avec ou sans bronchectasie associée (3). Il s'agit d'une bronchopneumopathie obstructive liée aux séquelles anatomiques à type d'obstructions alvéolaires distales et de destructions des parois alvéolaires faisant suite à des épisodes répétés de bronchiolite aiguë virale dans l'enfance(4). Abstract: Résumé: La pandémie de la Covid-19 est une infection liée au virus SARS-CoV-2 qui a engendré des répercussions sanitaires et économiques à travers le monde. L'atteinte cardiovasculaire peut être liée à un effet direct ou indirect du virus sur le coeur et les coronaires et elle constitue un facteur de gravité de l'infection. La pandémie a également engendré des répercussions sur la prise en charge des patients cardiaques qu'ils soient infectés ou non. Elle s'est accompagnée d'une baisse impressionnante des hospitalisations, et portant sur toutes les pathologies, ce qui a eu des répercussions sur le pronostic des malades qui consultent généralement à un état tardif et plus grave, en comparaison par rapport à la période précédant la pandémie. Ce retard de prise en charge, va alourdir la morbi-mortalité déjà importante du SARS-CoV-2.

Ropivacaine, due to its sensory-motor dissociation property, may be useful when quicker recovery of motor function is desirable.
