Abstract: One of the frequent complications of cyanotic heart disease in paediatric age group is infective endocarditis (IE) [1,2,3]. The most commonly encountered organisms in IE are Streptococci or Staphylococci [4,5]. Corynebacterium diphtheriae, the causative agent of diphtheria is a rare cause of IE [6]. It is found to be an uncommon etiology associated with mycotic aneurysm, septic arthritis, splenic abscess, and osteomyelitis. Isolation of such uncommon organisms is made feasible with the help of automated systems in diagnostic microbiology laboratory which also reduces turnaround.......

Abstract: AIM AND OBJECTIVE: To Review The Findings To DURAL AV FISTULA With Venous Aneurysm Under Different Imaging Modalities. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE : Venous Drainage Patterns Are A Major Determinant Of Clinical Outcome In Intracranial Dural Arteriovenous Fistula (DAVF) Patients. In This Study, We Sought To Identify MR Imaging Finding Differences Between DAVF Types Classified On The Basis Of Venous Drainage Patterns......

Abstract: Uterine necrosis is a rare and life threatening complication after caesarean section. It can be associated with uterine artery embolization following postpartum hemorrhage. Regardless with etiology, prompt treatment with antibiotics and hysterectomy should be done compulsorily to prevent septicemia. Here we report a case of uterine necrosis as a sequelae of postpartum endometritis.....

Abstract: BACKGROUND: E xtraction of the impacted mandibular third molars is the common surgical procedure in dental clinics. Complications after extraction are commonly seen in all the patients who underwent extraction. These complications are almost impossible to avoid but they can be reduced for the comfort of the patient. This study deals with a drug which can reduce the complications after impacted mandibular third molar extraction. MATERIAL AND METHODS : P atients were divid ed into 2 groups. GROUP 1: patients were advised to use NSAID and Serratiopeptidase along with application of icepack extra orally GROUP 2: patients advised to use NSAID and icepack. Postoperative sequelae like swelling was measured using Laskin's method, trismus by Vernier callipers, and pain using VAS scores......

Abstract: Tamoxifen is an adjuvant hormone therapy used orally in breast cancer. Retinal toxicity to this product is an extremely rare condition. It is frequently characterized by its edematous and dose-dependent form. stopping this treatment stops the development and prevents bilateralization of the pathology. We report the case of a 46-year-old patient, under hormone therapy with tamoxifen for 3 years for hormone-sensitive breast cancer, in whom atrophic maculopathy was discovered following a gradual decline in visual acuity that has progressed over the past year.

Abstract: Background: Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) associated with urinary catheters is the leading cause of secondary nosocomial bacteremia. Approximately 20 percent of hospital-acquired bacteremias are acquired due to catheter-associated urinary tract infection and the mortality associated with this condition is about 10%. Aim and Objective: the present study was planned to assess the prevalence of catheter-associated urinary tract infection among patients suffering with urological / nephrological problems at adults intensive care unit at tertiary care hospital, Indore MP-India.....
