Abstract: Human brucellosis is a re-emerging and neglected zoonotic disease caused by Brucella spp., with Brucella melitensis being the principal cause worldwide. Despite the disease's prevalence, serological surveillance is not routinely practiced, even in countries where Brucella is endemic. Although eradication efforts have been successful in many developed and developing countries, brucellosis continues to pose a significant health risk to both animals and humans. Transmission to humans occurs by direct or indirect contact with infected animals or their products......

Abstract: Organophosphorus poisoning is commonly encountered in agricultural settings where the usage of pesticides is more. These compounds are also known for their potential as chemical warfare agents due to their toxic effects on the nervous system. This case report highlights a rare incident of acute inhalation organophosphorus poisoning in a 38-year-old male, who presented to the emergency department with symptoms of giddiness, nausea, vomiting and generalized fatigue. Early diagnosis and treatment are important in managing this potential life-threatening condition. The patient's clinical presentation, diagnostic findings and treatment are discussed here.

Abstract: The occurrence of Squamous Cell Carcinoma is high in patients with a history of long term tobacco use. Extensive lesions of the oral cavity may lead to resection of mandible, which can compromise the patient's functions and esthetics to varying degrees, due to its complex attachments and prominent position in the facial architecture. Prosthodontic rehabilitation of a completely edentulous hemimandibulectomy patient is even more challenging due to a number of compromising factors. Revamping certain basic principles of Prosthodontics maybe necessary for successful rehabilitation of these patients. The ultimate aim of the Prosthodontist is to improve the quality of life of these patients.....

Abstract: Introduction: Voriconazole, a commonly used antifungal in immunocompromised patients is effective against various fungal pathogens. Despite its efficacy, it is associated with numerous adverse effects, including the less frequently documented motor neuropathy. Case Presentation: We report a case of a 60-year-old male with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who developed motor neuropathy following voriconazole administration. Initially treated with standard chemotherapy and prophylactic antifungals, he developed febrile neutropenia and was subsequently administered voriconazole. Within a week......

Abstract: Background: Retrograde intra-renal surgery (RIRS) has gained popularity as a result of technological advances. Although widely used, the literature on its feasibility for the treatment of large renal stone burdens is limited. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of RIRS for the treatment of large renal stone burdens.. Materials and Methods: Fifty-five patients with stone burdens ≥21 mm and treated with RIRS between November 2019 and October 2021 were evaluated for patient demographics, stone characteristics, and stone-free rates (SFR). Patients were divided into three groups according to stone burdens (21–30 mm, 31–40 mm, and >40 mm). A standard......
