Abstract: Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of Kinesio-Taping in the short and medium term on pain and function in low back pain compared to a placebo. Methods: We conducted a double-blind, two-arm randomized clinical trial. The study included a total of 70 patients randomised into 2 groups: Kinesio-Taping (n = 35) and control group (n = 35). All patients received Kinesio-Tapes with a tension between 25 to 30% in the taping group, and with no tension in the placebo group. Taping was applied at baseline, fourth and eighth day. Patients are assessed at baseline, on day 14......

Abstract: Background: Urinary tract infection is the most common bacterial infection during pregnancy and can lead to significant maternal and perinatal morbidity. There is increasing evidence suggesting that asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) is associated with an increased rate of transformation into cystitis or pyelonephritis if not treated in the initial period. The great majority of studies performed so far concerning women diagnosed with ASB have focused on screening techniques and assessing the risk factors. Not many studies have been conducted regarding the fetal and maternal outcomes of asymptomatic bacteriuria in our settings. To fill these lacunae, the current study was under taken......

Abstract: Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRNs) are naturally occurring polymers comprised of deoxyribonucleotides linked by phosphodiester bonds. PDRNs derived from various sources, including salmon, have gained significant attention in aesthetics due to their potential regenerative and anti-aging properties. This review article aims to explore the utilization of salmon-derived PDRNs in aesthetic medicine, focusing on their mechanisms of action and specific applications in skin rejuvenation.

Abstract: Background: Currently effects of Covid-19 on pregnancy are little known. To identify maternal and neonatal risks associated with Covid-19 in pregnancy, determine possibility of vertical transmission, and describe outcome a retrospective descriptive study was done. Associations were evaluated for all Covid-19 patients, and disease classified as mild versus moderate/severe disease. Methods: Covid RT-PCR-positive women who were admitted from 1st of May to 31st August 2020 were included. Cases were classified according to their severity, investigations done and treated according to MOHFW, India guidelines. Data were collected.....

Abstract: Cystic hygroma is a medical condition that occurs when the lymphatic system develops abnormally, resulting in the expansion of lymphatic vessels called lymphangiomas. Cervical Lymphangioma is commonly found in the posterior triangle of the neck and can affect vital structures like the sympathetic chain, carotid artery contents, and branches of nerves such as hypoglossal, lingual, and facial. This case report aims to outline the management of large cervical cystic hygroma in 27 years old female patient and its Surgical treatment.
