Abstract: Any cancer can spread to the skin, a phenomenon typically more common in advanced stages of the disease. However, some tumors can remain clinically silent until the discovery of a cutaneous metastasis, often complicating the diagnosis of the primary tumor, especially if it's a rare tumor like breast cancer in men. It is in this context that we report a case of localized cutaneous metastasis on the scalp, without the presence of other associated clinical signs. Investigations revealed a metastatic breast carcinoma requiring extensive surgical intervention, complemented by adjuvant treatments.

Abstract: Introduction: School closures carry high social and economic costs for people across communities. Their impact however is particularly severe for the most vulnerable and marginalized boys and girls and their families. The resulting disruptions exacerbate already existing disparities within the education system but also in other aspects of their lives. Hence a study is proposed to evaluate the effects of Covid-19 lockdown on education of school children between 8-15 years of age and assessment of mental health of these children using the Child behaviour checklist is done. These children were from a urban slum called Rajapur in Kalaburagi city in Karnataka state. Student participants along with their parents.........

Abstract: One current approach for rehabilitating patients with total or partial tooth loss involves the immediate loading of implants. Recent advancements in surgical techniques, a deeper understanding of tissue biology, and improvements in implant quality have led to the growing acceptance of immediate loading as a viable rehabilitative option in both clinical practice and literature. While some concerns about potential compromises to osseointegration with immediate loading have been initially expressed, submerged healing of implants is not crucial for successful osseointegration. The key lies in controlling micro-movements at the bone-implant interface instead. This report presents a clinical case involving immediate functional loading in a completely edentulous patient, providing insights into its indications and necessary precautions..

Abstract: Coalescence of the labia minora is defined as partial or complete adhesion of the labia minora. Complete labial fusion is a rare condition in adults. Coalescence of the labia minora generally occurs in early childhood and in prepubertal girls. It is a rare entity in women of childbearing age, except in cases of hypo oestrogenism. In general, micturition dysfunction is a rare complication of labia minora coalescence. We report the case of an 18-year-old female with complete and severe labia minora coalescence complicated by bladder retention..

Abstract: Introduction: Leprosy is a chronic granulomatous infection caused by Mycobacterium leprae. Histoid leprosy is a rare form of leprosy with clinical manifestations of papules and nodules on the skin or subcutaneous tissue. Histoid leprosy can be found de novo in patients without a history of previous leprosy treatment. Case: A 60-year-old man presented with multiple papules and nodules on the superior and inferior extremities 3 months before admission. The patient had a history of traveling to leprosy endemic areas 2 years previously. There was no history of previous leprosy treatment. Skin-slit smear examination showed a bacterial index of +4 and a morphological index of 40%. Fite Faraco.......

Abstract: GISTs are the most common sarcoma of the digestive tract, but represent only 0.2 % of all digestive malignancies. They occur in adults of all ages, but rarely before the age of 40. GISTs are generally located in the stomach or small intestine, and the diagnosis is initially made on the basis of endoscopic, echo-endoscopic or radiological features. Only anatomopathology can confirm the diagnosis. Surgical resection remains the only curative treatment for localized stromal tumors, and in the case of locally advanced or metastatic disease, or in the event of recurrence, the first-line treatment is imatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. In the light of literature data, we will study the epidemiological characteristics and endoscopic aspects of gastrointestinal stromal tumors through a series of 21 cases collected within the department of gastroenterology and proctology "Medicine B" Ibn Sina Hospital in rabat.

Abstract: Background: Lymph node involvement is well established as an important prognostic factor for head and neck cancer, with the presence of even one positive lymph node being associated with as much as a 50% reduction in overall survival. Early detection of metastatic lymph nodes is of immense importance. As a method for detecting and evaluating cervical lymph node metastasis, both palpation and imaging examinations are widely used. Therefore, this study is undertaken to evaluate the role of clinical examination as well as imaging modalities, viz – ultrasonography (USG) and computed tomography (CT) scan in the diagnosis of cervical lymph node metastasis........

Abstract: Schwannoma, typically a benign tumor originating from Schwann cells, can develop in various parts of the body, including the retroperitoneal and pelvic regions. In this observation, we report the case of a giant retro-uterine presacral schwannoma in a 25-year-old woman, revealed by atypical pelvic pain and diagnosed through CT and MRI imaging. The patient underwent surgery via both abdominal and Kraske's posterior approaches, and histology confirmed the diagnosis as benign. Schwannomas in this location are highly rare. They can progress to a malignant form, especially.....

Abstract: Background: Traumatic head injuries, including maxillofacial fractures, present a significant global health challenge, with road traffic accidents being a major contributing factor, especially among males. This study investigates the complex relationship between facial fractures and head injuries, exploring varying perspectives on whether facial bones protect or transmit forces to the cranial region. The research highlights the high incidence of neurological complications in individuals with facial fractures, emphasizing the importance of early recognition and appropriate management.....

Abstract: Background: C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acutephase reactant and a frequently used marker of low-grade systemic inflammation. Its levels increase in response to both infectious and noninfectious exposures. Elevated CRP levels during pregnancy, as a marker of low-grade inflammation, have also been suggested to be associated with increased risks of fetal growth restriction and neonatal complications, such as preterm birth, low birthweight, and small size for gestational age (SGA). Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of highly sensitive c- reactive protein in preeclampsia on fetal outcome.
