Abstract: Background : spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas (SDAVFs), also known as type I spinal arteriovenous malformations, are the most common spinal vascular disorder. Diagnosis of an SDAVF isoften challenging because of its heterogeneous presentation that can mimic other neurologicaldisorders. A typical SDAVF is fed by a radicularartery and drains into a medullary vein, leading toa dilated perimedullary venous plexus and spinalcord congestion. The classic clinical picture is thatof a progressive thoracic myelopathy. Surgical treatment of SDAVFs is safe and effective and leads to an improvement of neurologic symptoms in most patients. Surgical treatment of SDAVFs.....

Abstract: Introduction: COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant mental health problems resulting in extensive adverse economic and societal consequences. There is paucity of data on mental health issues during COVID-19 in India and so the present survey was conducted to document the prevalence of depression among different professions using Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) scale. Aims: To study the prevalence of depression and its severity among different professions during COVID-19 pandemic.....

Abstract: Background: Colorectal carcinomas (CRC) are one of the most common malignant neoplasms in industrialized countries and are responsible for a significant proportion of cancer related deaths. It is the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. The cause for CRC ranges from germline mutations such as the adenomatous polyposis coli genes to a completely environmental risk factor such as excess body mass index at the other end. Both MSI and the four antibody IHC have similar value in predicting germline mutation, the concordance rate between these two tests is less than perfect. The aim of our study is to assess the mismatch repair deficiency in colorectal cancer by a four antibody immunohistochemical panel and to compare the mismatch repair deficiency study by immunohistochemical panel with histopathological parameters in colorectal carcinoma......

Abstract: Background: Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is a major and silent cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality. Rate of IUGR in developing countries is 5-6 times higher than that of developed countries. 15 to 21million infants are affected with IUGR in developing countries annually. The highest incidence is found in south central Asia (33%) and India (21%).Pregnancies complicated by late-onset fetal growth restriction (FGR) are at increased risk of short- and long-term morbidities. Aim of study was to evaluate the role of early 3rd trimester ultrasound in diagnosis and role of color Doppler in prediction of its adverse perinatal outcome in IUGR.......

Abstract: Background & Objectives: Dengue fever is one of the commonest arboviral disease in this part of the world with sudden increase in number of patients in last few years. In most of the cases, it is asymptomatic or presents with features common to any viral infection. Dengue fever is usually non-specific, self limiting, biphasic febrile illness but the presentation may range from being asymptomatic to classical dengue fever, dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome. In dengue fever patients, acute acalculous cholecystitis is not uncommon and is usually self-limiting and resolves with conservative management only.Aim of study to now the incidence, clinical profile and outcome of......

Abstract: Most of developing Class III malocclusion are accompanied by skeletal discrepancies. Skeletal class III could be maxillary jaw retrusion. Mandibular jaw protrusion .Combination of both. . Interception of mild to moderate cases should be carried out as early as possible before it becomes severe. Orthopedic appliances are those appliances through which growth could be modified include maxillary protraction appliances. Mandibular retractors and functional appliances. Orthopedic facemask is extra oral appliance of choice in cases with maxillary retrusion and produces dramatic results in the shortest period of time, also Functional appliance treated of class III by hold the mandible in a retruded position to enhance the advancement growth of maxilla and inhibit the growth of the mandible....
