Abstract: Implant-retained tissue-supported overdentures (ITSO) have emerged as a promising solution to address the challenges of conventional dentures, offering improved stability, function, and patient satisfaction. This dual-support system minimizes pressure on the underlying tissues, preserving bone structure and facial aesthetics over time. Furthermore, ITSO offer customizable solutions tailored to individual patient needs.
Thus implant-retained tissue-supported overdentures represent a significant advancement in modern dentistry, revolutionizing the treatment of edentulism and restoring quality of life for countless patients. ITSO empower individuals to enjoy the benefits of a confident, natural-looking smile.

Abstract: Summary : Hepatoblastoma is the most common primary malignant hepatic tumor of infancy and childhood, occurring predominantly in the first two years of life. Over the last 3 decades, the treatment has advanced, and neoadjuvant chemotherapy is now the standard of care for most cases. Prognosis is based on many factors including alpha-fetoprotein levels, age at the time of diagnosis, completeness of resection, and clinical stage of the disease. This is a retrospective study of 16 cases of BH, between 2012 and 2022, with an average age of 20 months. All patients benefited......

Abstract: Depression is the most prevalent mental disorder in pregnancy, and yet it is less studied than postpartum depression despite the consequences it may have on both the pregnant woman and her offspring. Therefore, it would be important to know which risk factors may favour the appearance of antenatal depression in order to carry out appropriate prevention interventions. The aim of the present review was to identify the main risk factors of antenatal depression. We searched in databases PubMed and PsycINFO for articles published about the factors associated with antenatal....

Abstract: Purpose: To understand the importance of clinical examination for identification of an opaque IOL
Case: A 70-year-old female came to our out-patient department with complaints of decreased vision in her right eye from the last 6 months with uncorrected visual acuity of hand movements. A preliminary anterior segment examination was done by a resident under training who had sent the patient for dilatation following which the patient was then evaluated by a senior surgeon and to the surprise of the examiner; it was an opaque IOL and not a mature cataract......

Abstract: Around 20%-50% cirrhotic patients requiring hospitalization develops acute kidney injury (AKI) (1,2,3) and have bad prognosis with mortality rates up to 90% (4). Severity of liver disease is an important risk factor associated with AKI (5). The role of inflammation in AKI is increasingly recognized, and being reported as a prognostic factor (5). It has been reported that neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has a role in predicting acute kidney injury (6,7). It is observed that patients of liver cirrhosis have a combination of immune deficiency and systemic......
