Abstract: Introduction: The use of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), as a treatment for benign and malignant pancreaticobiliary tree disorders is becoming widely accepted. Pancreatitis is the most frequent complication of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), accounting for substantial morbidity, and mortality. Most recently, interest has been developed in the study of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent PEP.
