Abstract: Malrotation of midgut is generally regarded as pediatricentity with majority of patients present during infancy and childhood. Adultmidgutmalrotation is very rare and its incidence has been reported to be 0.2% to 0.5%.we report a case of an adult patient with midgutmalrotation. Methods: A 38years old moderately built and nourished gentleman was admitted to the accident and emergency department with upper abdominal distension for 10 days and vomiting for 5 days.H/O similar complaints on and off for the past 2 years. Onexamination, the patient was afebrile and haemodynamicallystable. Abdomen distended over epigastrium. Palpation revealed no mass/organomegaly.patient was catheterized and Ryle's tube was inserted. Input /output charts............

Abstract: Background: Diabetic ulcer is the most frequent reason for hospitalization in patients with diabetes. It has increased the cost of treatment and hospitalization of these patients. Currently a lot of attention is being placed on the development of expensive topical growth factors for wound healing. Thus there remains a quest for better wound healing agents. One such agent is phenytoin which is cheap, easy to use and readily available for medical practice. Phenytoin (diphenylhydantoin) was initially introduced into therapy for the effective control of convulsive disorders. A common side effect with systemic phenytoin treatment is the development of fibrous overgrowth of gingiva. This apparent stimulatory effect of phenytoin on connective tissue suggested an encouraging possibility for its use in wound healing. To study the efficacy of topical phenytoin dressing over conventional dressing in the management of diabetic ulcers...........

Abstract: Herniotomy /open surgery has been the time honored treatment for congenital inguinal hernia. Laparoscopic surgery has recently emerged as an alternative but wider adoption of laparoscopic surgery remains controversial. Therefore the need for comparison of the two techniques for addressing congenital inguinal hernia propelled us to prospectively evaluate the differences and outcomes. Methods: This prospective study was conducted in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2016 with the approval of the hospital ethical committee.60 children underwent either Laparoscopic Surgery(38) OR Open Surgery(22) for congenital inguinal hernia.........

Abstract: The concept of Oral Health-Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL) corresponds to the impact of oral health or disease on an individual's daily functioning, well-being or overall quality of life. The purpose of this study was to assess the association between malocclusions and oral aesthetic self-perception in the adolescents of the Mathura High schools.

Abstract: Hypospadias refers to incomplete urethral development due to incomplete fusion of urethral folds that results in a meatus located anywhere from the proximal glans to the perineum. This is a retrospective analysis of a prospective study of 25 patients who underwent repair of hypospadias using tubularised incised plate (TIP) urethroplasty (Snodgrass Technique) with tunica vaginalis flap as second layer, conducted during July 2015 to July 2017 in Department of General Surgery in Chatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital Meerut, India. Results were analysed. Tunica vaginalis when used as interposition layer is a highly reliable flap in both primary hypospadias repairs and redo surgery with minimal complication rate. The study is an attempt to evaluate safety and efficacy of tunica vaginalis flap as an interposition layer in hypospadias and redo surgeries.

Abstract: Introduction :Iodine deficiency lead to hypothyroidism, autoimmune attack to thyroid gland may also result in the same, excess iodine supplementation is supposed to induce autoimmune injury to thyroid gland. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), in turn, is a chronic, complex, and heterogeneous autoimmune disease, in which there is a response directed towards the diarthrodial joints producing symmetric polyarthritis with progressive damage to the joints, bone destruction, and extra-articular manifestations (EAMs) such as cutaneous nodules, lung involvement, cardiovascular disease (CVD), episcleritis, and so forth, the autoimmune hypothesis as its cause is most commonly accepted...........

Abstract: Fetal gall-stones are extremely rare but benign findings associated with a very favorable prognosis. The presence of gallstones or echogenic material has been described in the literature with controversial clinical significance. It is easily detectable by routine trans-abdominal sonography during the third trimester of pregnancy. Anomalies of the gall bladder, including sludge and gall stones, are extremely uncommon in fetal life, however, they may be associated with other several maternal and fetal conditions. We present a study of 12 fetuses diagnosed with cholelithiasis on antenatal sonography and serial postnatal follow-up sonographic evaluations, with a description of any associated fetal comorbidities.

Abstract: Salivary duct carcinoma of the parotid gland is an uncommon highly aggressive tumor. About 200 cases have been reported in the English literature. Pathomorphologically, these tumors showed great similarities to ductal carcinoma of the female breast, which is why they described this tumor as "salivary duct carcinoma." We present the case of a 77-year-old patient with progressive swelling in the neck since 8 months. The MRI examination of the head showed an ill definedlesion.A malignant tumor was strongly suspected, so that a right total parotidectomy along with modified neck dissection(involving Level II-IV Lymph nodes) was performed and sent for histopathological examination.Microscopic examination concluded to a salivary duct carcinoma of the right parotid gland without lymph node involvement.

Abstract: The involvement of the ovary in lymphomatous processes is rare. Such an involvement can occur in 2 ways, either primary or secondary, which usually presents with abdominal or pelvic complaints. The distinction is of considerable importance because primary extra-nodal lymphomas run a less aggressive course. We present a case of primary diffuse large B-Cell lymphoma of ovary. The diagnosis was confirmed on histopathological examination and immunohistochemical analysis

Abstract: Aim : The aim of the study is to analyse the predisposing factors, stage at presentation, regional lymph nodes in the stages, the type of surgery done and the prognosis in the patients with carcinoma of penis. Methods: Patients who satisfy the inclusion criteria are taken up for surgery / chemotherapy after history taking , meticulous physical examination and other investigations. The patients underwent different modalities of treatment. The various patient details are charted such as predisposing factors , stage at presentation , regional lymph nodes in the stages , the type of surgery done and the prognosis of the patients in the post operative period and during the post chemotherapy / radiotherapy period..............

Abstract: Imaging modalities are very attractive tools with respect to prediction of response to anticancer therapy due to noninvasive nature of these procedure, the possibility of repeating the test several times and the use of different imaging biomarkers. These modalities could be used before, during and after anticancer therapy to follow up and predict response, which could very helpful in individualizing therapy. The literature has been reviewed to assess the role of imaging techniques such as diffusion weight magnetic resonance imaging (DWMRI) in the prediction of the response to therapy..........

Abstract: Objectives We have evaluated changes in tumor ADC on DWI values before and after Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy to predict the treatment response in LABC and to measure the response to NACT among patients with locally advanced breast cancers preoperatively. Materials and Methods The following databases including Embase, the Cochrane library, MEDLINE, PubMed, Elsevier, Springer and free journals were searched via the search queries published until 1 July 2016. In order to have qualification for this study, we determined that a study should consist patients by newly diagnosed or recurrent, histologically proven breast cancer undergoing NACT who were imaged using MRI and predefined inclusion, extraction criteria and exclusion criteria...................
