Abstract: The aim of this work is to study the tumour and stromal expression of CD10 in colorectal adenoma and carcinoma and to study the relationship of CD10 expression in Tumour prognostic factors such as Depth of invasion andTumour staging. Materials and methods:CD10 expression was studied in tumour cells and stromal cells in 30 colorectal adenomas and 30 colorectal carcinomas using monoclonal antibody to CD10 by immunohistochemistry. Results: Significant progression of CD 10 immunohistochemical expression in tumour cells from adenomas to carcinomas was reported in this study (p<0.05).Inverse significant correlation was detected between CD10 expression in tumour cells and depth of tumour invasion as 100% and 80% of T2 and T3 cases respectively showed positive CD10 expression and 100% of T4 cases showed negative Tumour CD10 expression with strong stromal staining

Abstract: Computer-aided technology is an emerging method for fabricating complete dentures. Consolidated information about historical background, current status, and scope for the future is lacking. The purpose of this literature review was to analyze the existing literature on denture base materials for fabricating complete dentures and provide the reader with a historical background, current status, and future perspectives on the emerging technology. The review of different denture base materials provides a clear picture about the various developments that have taken place in this field. The polymers, especially acrylic resins after entering this field for more than 70 years seem to be undergoing constant change and are the materials of choice..

Abstract: Introduction: The cardiovascular responses during laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation should be abolished to balance the myocardial oxygen supply and demand which is a key note in the safe conduct of anaesthesia. Attempts to reduce these untoward haemodynamic responses lead to the trial of various systemic as well as topical agents. This study was conducted to compare the efficacy of IV Dexmedetomidine and IV Esmolol to attenuate cardiovascular response during laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation in normotensive patients. Objective: To compare the effectiveness of dexmedetomidine or esmolol in attenuating the hemodynamic responses during laryngoscopy............

Abstract: Employee Engagement (EE) is an important factor in the organization to achieve the success and increase its productivity. EE is the key variable that brings employee and the management closer. There are many factors that influence Employee Engagement along with demographic factors. The researchers have identified some of variables and were grouped into a factor as Individual factor. Employee Engagement, according to the Corporate Executive Board (2004) is the "extent to which an employee commits to something or someone in the organization and how long they stay as a result of their commitment". The main focus of this research paper is an evaluation...........

Abstract: Introduction: Surgical procedures are stressful for both patients and their relatives who are hospitalized for surgery. In preoperative period uneventful physiologic and psychologic reactions and in postoperative period increased sense of pain was observed due to these procedures. In the present study, we evaluated presurgical anxiety and the factors affecting its severity in geriatric patients and their first-degree relatives. Materials and Methods: A series of 100 American Society of Anesthesiologists class I–III patients aged > 65 years, scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia, and their first-degree relatives were included in this single-center study. Participant characteristics including age, sex, education, and type of surgery were recorded. Preoperative anxiety was evaluated using State Trait Anxiety Inventory.........

Abstract: Background: Post-cesarean endometritis is still regarded as serious morbidities, in spite of the strategies used to prevent these complications. To reduce the morbidity, different preventive measures have been taken including the administration of prophylactic antibiotics, use of prophylactic vaginal preparation, and the uterine cavity cleaning. The benefits of such measure remain a topic of debate. Objectives: To our knowledge, this is the first Egyptian trial to evaluate the value of intrauterine cleaning after placental delivery in reducing the rate of post-cesarean endometritis. Subjects and Methods: We conducted this RCT at the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of Ain Shams university hospitals on 400 pregnant women aged 20-35 years and would undergo cesarean section for their.......
