Abstract: Cosmetic products, particularly lipsticks, are widely used across various populations. While the aesthetic effects of lipstick have been extensively discussed, the potential implications for oral health still need to be explored. This review examines the possible impacts of lipstick use on the oral microbiome, dental hygiene practices, and soft tissue health. Additionally, the review highlights behavioral changes induced by lipstick use that could affect oral care habits. The aim is to provide dental professionals with insights into how daily cosmetic habits, such as lipstick application, may influence oral health and hygiene practices.

Abstract: Composite veneers are a minimally invasive and increasingly popular choice for aesthetic dental restorations. Their clinical durability and success are determined by multiple factors, including material composition, patient habits, and the technical expertise of the dental practitioner. This review evaluates the existing research on the lifespan of composite veneers, with a focus on the key elements that affect their durability, clinical performance, and patient satisfaction. These elements include adhesive bonding methods, patient oral hygiene practices, and mechanical stressors that influence the long-term success of composite veneers....

Abstract: Pathologic migration of anterior teeth, commonly resulting from periodontal disease, poses both functional and aesthetic challenges. This cross-sectional study examines the combined approach of periodontal, orthodontic, and restorative treatments in correcting this condition. The integration of these disciplines allows for holistic management, addressing both the underlying causes and resultant misalignments. The study aims to highlight treatment outcomes, challenges, and patient satisfaction..

Abstract: Fibroepithelial polyps are common, benign, inflammatory lesions that occur on oral mucosa. Chronic trauma can predispose its occurrence. This case report is about an unusual pattern of a fibroepithelial polyp on the tongue of a middle-aged woman. Even though these are innocent lesions surgical excision was advised in this case considering the site, size, and esthetics.

Abstract: Nanotechnology is rapidly transforming the field of medicine, offering new and innovative solutions to some of the most complex challenges in healthcare. At its core, nanotechnology involves manipulating and engineering materials at the nanometer scale, where unique physical, chemical, and biological properties emerge. In medicine, this ability to work at such a small scale opens the door to revolutionary advancements, such as targeted drug delivery systems, improved diagnostic tools, regenerative medicine, and even nanoscale surgery. Nanotechnology......

Abstract: Mucormycosis is a very rare, life-threatening infection caused by fungi. Frequently observed in those patients having underlying immunosuppression, rarely found in immunocompetent patients. The infection can cause pulmonary, rhinocerebral, skin and soft tissue, central nervous system and gastrointestinal system. Nevertheless, gastrointestinal involvement is the rarest presentation. We present a rare case of invasive intestinal mucormycosis causing Gastrointestinal bleed in an adult female and review the literature, highlighting the rare clinical presentation, the need for high index of suspicion in the timely diagnosis and management of mucormycosis.

Being an air-borneinfection the percentage of skeletal tuberculosis is found to be very low compared to pulmonary tuberculosis. The incidence of musculoskeletal tuberculosis affecting elbow joint is extremely rare. Materials and Methods: We present a case of a 21 year old male residing in India presented with complaints of progressive left elbow pain for 6 months with restriction of movement later. On examination, the left elbow was in fixed flexion deformity with.......

Abstract: Oestrogen is the key regulatory hormone for the development and maintenance of reproductive functions and affects various physiological systems, including the skeletal, cardiovascular, and central nervous systems. oestrogen replacement therapy (ERT) is highly effective in postmenopausal women, addressing menopausal symptoms and providing beneficial effects on osteoporosis and coronary heart disease. However, ERT is associated with significant side effects, such as an increased risk of breast cancer. To mitigate these risks, selective oestrogen receptor modulators (SERMs) have been developed. SERMs are a growing class of synthetic nonsteroidal compounds that act as oestrogen receptor agonists or antagonists in a tissue-specific manner. They can selectively.......

Abstract: In the root canal system, infection of the pulp tissue caused by caries or other pathways is the primary cause of apical periodontitis. The ultimate goal of the endodontic treatment is to create adequate conditions for periradicular tissue healing. Nonsurgical endodontic treatment is a highly predictable treatment option in most cases, but surgery may be indicated for teeth with persistent periradicular pathosis unresponsive to nonsurgical approaches. The aim of this article is to highlight the possibility of the successful outcome of surgical endodontic treatment following failed non-surgical treatment of right maxillary central incisor. With proper case selection and operator skill, periradicular surgery can be considered predictable, cost-effective alternative to tooth extraction and tooth replacement..

Abstract: Background: Prostate gland diseases significantly impact adult males globally, with an increasing prevalence due to aging populations. The primary conditions affecting the prostate are inflammation, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and tumors, with BPH being the most common. Prostatic carcinoma is also prevalent, with a high lifetime risk. Prostate cancer incidence increases with age, and early detection relies on digital rectal examination, transrectal ultrasonography, and PSA testing. Aim of the study: The study aims to find out correlation between PSA, Gleasons scoring system and HER-2/NEU gene in prostatic cancer........
