Abstract: Bilateral medial medullary infarction (MMI) is an exceedingly uncommon cerebrovascular event, accounting for only 1% of confirmed ischemic strokes. This particular stroke subtype elicits profound neurological deficits, including alterations in consciousness, tetraplegia, and cranial nerve involvement, frequently leading to dysphagia and respiratory distress, thereby posing a life-threatening risk.. While advancements in brain MRI technology have enabled the diagnosis of bilateral MMI in recent years, identifying it remains exceptionally challenging......

Abstract: Background: Hypertension is a worldwide public health challenge. Over the years it has become one of the leading cause of kidney disease. This is due to closely interlinked pathophysiological states such that sustained hypertension impairs kidney function. Progressive decline in kidney function conversely lead to worsening hypertension. Early detection of indicators of kidney disease among hypertensive individuals and timely preventive intervention are the key strategies to prevent development of kidney disease among hypertensive patients.........

Abstract: Endodontic management of curved canals is posing serious challenges to the clinicians in terms of mechanical instrumentation. Most commonly it is associated with procedural errors. Continuous tapered preparation of the curved root canal from the cervical orifice to the apical terminus necessitates proper preoperative clinical and radiographic evaluation, assiduous glidepath management with smaller files and judicious use of flexible Ni- Ti rotary or reciprocating files along with copious irrigation. Multiple assessment criteria were developed for preoperative judgment of the difficulty of the cases as well as numerous strategies are adopted for correct instrumentation......

Abstract: Background: Provisional restoration is a critical stage in the therapy of fixed prostheses. It is utilized from the time the tooth is prepared until the final restoration is delivered. The dental provisional restorations success is detected mainly by 4 factors: biocompatibility, esthetics, fracture resistance and marginal fit. Aim of the study: The study was done for comparing the marginal adaptation and fracture resistance of the provisional crowns manufactured by 3D printing, CAD/CAM & conventional manual techniques. Materials and Methods: Regarding to the sample size estimation, twenty-one crowns in total were constructed & subsequently divided into 3 equal groups, seven samples were produced for every group in accordance with the fabrication-.....

Abstract: Résumé

Abstract: Background: Breast cancer is the commonest cancer of women worldwide. Bangladesh is no exception. It is one of the major causes of cancer related death among Bangladeshi women. To adopt an early detection strategy to this cancer is vital. For this, it is important to analyse the risk factors for developing breast cancer in our population, which might not be like those of the western population. Objectives: to evaluate the risk factors of breast cancer in women at a tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh. Methods: it's a descriptive....
