Abstract: Introduction: The ECG is of great importance in the initial evaluation of patients suspected of having acute coronary syndrome (ACS). According to the current AHA/ACC and ESC guidelines especially in ST-segment elevation ACS, the ECG from the acute phase contains essential information about the site and size of the area at risk, aiding in the selection of appropriate therapy for the individual patient. Objective: To determine the diagnostic accuracy of ST-segment depression of 1mm/more in lead aVR in predicting the culprit artery in ST-elevated inferior myocardial infarction. Methods: Cross.......

Abstract: Background: when a person loses a tooth, dental implants are placed to replace the missing teeth. Achieving successful osseointegration necessitates a technique that minimizes surgical difficulties, which is one of the main attributes that establish implants as a dependable alternative. There are two primary methods for implant placement: manual implantation and implantation using a surgical guide. Implant placement with a surgical guide is more precise than with other techniques. Some have countered that although dental implants have a high accuracy.....

Abstract: Button batteries are now widely used in a variety of household electronic devices, including children's toys, and cause severe tissue damage within two hours of exposure in the esophagus and nasal passages, which can lead to serious health problems and even perforation of vital tissue(1). Although cases of battery explosions causing eye damage have been documented, the extent of the damage caused by intact button cells is not fully understood (2, 3). Because...

Abstract: The authors portray the principles of immune-metabolic interaction, and elaborate on the molecular mechanisms by which diet, host genome, gut microbiome, and immune responses interwine to influence metabolic homeostasis throughout the years until old age. In this perspective, the discussion revolves around the clinical aspects by which immune activation may predispose to pathological metabolic states, as well as how the environment, genetics, and microbiome may regulate complex immune-metabolic interactions and propensity to develop metabolic diseases...

Abstract: CAR-T cell therapy harnesses genetically modified T cells to target specific antigens on cancer cells, offering a promising immunotherapy approach for hematologic malignancies and beyond. This review synthesizes current literature and clinical studies to analyze CAR-T cell therapy's mechanisms, efficacy, and safety profiles, examining genetic engineering techniques and antigen targeting strategies in diverse cancer contexts. Key findings highlight its remarkable clinical outcomes, including high response rates and durable remissions in relapsed/refractory....

Abstract: Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a prevalent metabolic disorder affecting millions globally, with increasing incidence rates among children. Understanding the level of social awareness regarding DM in children is crucial for early detection and effective management of the disease. Despite the availability of medical information, gaps in knowledge and awareness may exist within communities. Before the increase, the percentage of increasing incidence rates among children with DM was around 2-3%. However, after the increase, this percentage.....
