Abstract: Background: Peyronies disease (PD) is a localised penile fibrotic disease which impairs men's health physiologically and also psychologically. It is manifested by a palpable penile scar, painful erection, and deformity. Different modalities of nonsurgical treatment options exist, among which the injection of pharmacologically active agents directly into the penile plaque results in localized delivery and higher drug concentrations inside the plaque. With this rationale the study is planned to compare the effectiveness of combination of intralesional injection of triamcinolone, hyaluronidase, with daily oral vitamin E and without vit. E in the treatment of PD. Methods: Total 16 Patients with PD presenting at our OPD RIMS RANCHI from December 2020 to December 2022 were included in the study after obtaining the informed consent. They were divided into 2 groups (group A and group B)..............

Abstract: Purpose of Study and Research Objectives: 1. To aggregate data on PCR confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection to clearly identify the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 disease in different age groups. 2. To determine if there are any differences in the clinical presentation of COVID-19 in Children, Adults and Older Adults.3.To review published literature on (i) why some are more susceptible than others to severe infection and outcome (ii) what are the long term-effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Method: One database search (PubMed, Medline) was conducted using only PCR-confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infections to collect data on the clinical manifestations of COVID-19reported from 2019-2021. Data was extracted from the results, figures and tables of studies which met the selection criteria. Studies unavailable in English, without PCR confirmed cases and which combined the symptoms of children and adults were excluded.............

Abstract: Introduction: Appendicectomy is associated with several postoperative complications like surgical site infection, adhesive small bowel obstruction, wound dehiscence, etc. Complicationrate is 10- 19% for acute appendicitis without perforation and can reach upto 30% for perforated acute appendicitis. The low threshold for surgical intervention has increased the incidence of negative appendicectomy with unnecessary complications. Aim and Objective: To evaluate the clinical outcome of conservative management in patients of acute appendicitis and compare it with standard open appendicectomy.......

Abstract: Ileosigmoid knotting (ISK), also known as compound volvulus is the twisting of the ileum around the base of the sigmoid or vice versa [1, 2]. It is an unusual and rare cause of intestinal obstruction [3, 4]. It is a surgical emergency with very high morbidity and mortality because of its rapid progression to gangrene of the part involved [5].In this condition, loops of ileum wrap around the base of a redundant sigmoid colon to form a "knot". The knot causes intestinal obstruction and gangrene which usually presents as acute abdomen. Its incidence is higher in males in 4th decade of life and in culture where single meal is eaten. Most cases have been described in Africa, Asia and.....

Abstract: Asthma is the most common chronic illness of childhood, affecting approximately 10% of children, Worldwide, the prevalence of childhood asthma and hospitalization for it are increasing.(1)
• Like many other chronic disorders, and childhood asthma is likely to have an impact on the social and emotional aspects of life of children and parents.
• Children with asthma, particularly those who are newly diagnosed and/or have poor disease control, may be less physically active than healthy children

Abstract: The authors received no financial support for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article. Summary: The idiopathic illness known as central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is characterized by a serous detachment of the neurosensory retina in the macular area. A number of risk factors have been reported to be associated with the condition including stress, steroids, pregnancy, Cushing's syndrome, hypertension, systemic lupus erythematosus, antibiotic and alcohol use, and allergic respiratory disease. We report a case of CSCR in a woman during the first trimester of pregnancy, with spontaneous resolution of symptoms after delivery.
Key Word: central serous chorioretinopathy; pregnancy; ocular manifestations.

Abstract: Background: - HIV-AIDS is a most common global pandemic associate with destruction of human immunity and presents with various symptoms of infection like fever, cough, dyspnoea, lymphadenopathy and skin rash. Prolonged fever is a common presenting symptom in HIV infected individual. This presentation should not be ascribed to HIV infection itself and should be vigorously investigated to find a cause. For that reason, we conducted this study to find out most common infective aetiology in patients of HIV. Methods: - It is a prospective observational study which was carried out in SMIMER Hospital, Surat, Gujarat, India over a period of 21 months from November 2020 to August 2022. It is a prospective observational study. All the HIV positive patients of age more than 12 years who admitted with fever (>=100F) are included in the study and other HIV negative patients with Fever...........

Abstract: PURPOSE OF PROJECT: Anaemia in women with childbearing age affects more than 50% women, and hyperglycaemia in pregnancy is also a rampant problem for women in the Indian subcontinent. Pregnancy alters the red cell indices and so does hyperglycaemia. There thus arises the need for determining the best correlating factor of the red cell indices to detect/ grade iron deficiency in pregnant women with hyperglycaemia. METHOD USED: In women with hyperglycaemia in pregnancy, serum ferritin and RBC indices were tested and compared to find the best correlating factor for iron deficiency in these women............
