Abstract: Dysphagia is derived from the Greek word dys (difficulty, disordered) and phagia(to eat).It refers to the sensation where food is hindered in its passage from the mouth to the stomach. It is of two types – Oropharyngeal and Esophageal. Esophageal dysphagia can be either motor or mechanical. Symptoms vary depending upon the degree of luminal obstruction, associated esophagitis and type of food taken. Dysphagia can be to solids alone or to both solids and liquids. (1).Prevalence of Dysphagia among individuals >50 yrs of age range from 16% to 22% (2).Prevalence of dysphagia among young adult population was upto 17% with a peak in 40-49 yrs for both males and females, indicating that dysphagia is a very common condition in the general population(3).Upper GI Endoscopy is the first choice in evaluation of new onset dysphagia. It has excellent specificty for strictures and tumors (4)

Abstract: Aim: To compare the salivary flow rate, buffering capacity and resting pH in speech and hearing impaired children.
Material and Methods: A total of 60 Children were included in the study, consisting of 30 speech and hearing impaired children and 30 healthy children. Salivary parameters like flow rate, buffering capacity and resting pH were measured using Saliva-check Buffer kit (GC Europe) and were compared with healthy children.
Results: The difference between salivary flow rate, buffering capacity, pH was also found to be statistically significant with p value of less than 0.001.
Conclusion: The physicochemical properties of saliva, such as salivary flow rate, pH, buffering capacity is significantly low in speech and hearing impaired children when compared to healthy children.

These are hpertension, Gestational DM, maternal chronic respiratory or cardiovascular diseases, post term pregnancy, preeclampsia, eclampsia. Aims And Objectives: To assesss the fetal outcome and mode of delivery in patients in meconium stained liquor during labour. Materials & Methods This retrospective study was conducted from January 2019to JUNE 2019.The study was done on patients admitted to labour ward, in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at MDM HOSPITAL JODHPUR. Out of 4378 deliveries, 525patients had meconium stained liquor The meconium staining of the amniotic fluid was classified as Grade I, II, III......

Abstract: Background Allergic rhinitis is a global health problem that affects patients of all ages and ethnic Groups.Rhinitis,or the"stuffy nose"is the ninth most-common reason patients seek a physician's aid. Rhinitis may be defined as an inflammatory process occurring in the nose. Allergic rhinitis is congestion of the nasal mucosa, triggered by an allergen and mediated by an immune reaction by specific IgE antibody. Clinically, it is characterized by nasal obstruction, sneezing and a clear watery nasal discharge. Non-allergic rhinitis is an inflammation in the nose which is not IgE mediated. It is non seasonal, skin tests and blood tests with allergens are negative. Total and specific IgE levels are low. Chronic nasal airway obstruction is one of the most frequent symptoms encountered by the otorhinolaryngologist. The present study is an attempt to identify the role of turbinate procedures in allergic and non-allergic rhinitis patients.....

Abstract: Introduction:The mental foramen is an important landmark when considering placing implants in the foraminal region of the mandibular arch. Differences in its location, the number of foramina, and the possibility that an anterior loop of the mental nerve may be present mesial to the mental foramen need to be considered prior to preparing an osteotomy in this region. This article review, methods to provide the measurements with respect to the mental foramen and makes clinical suggestions to reduce inadvertent damage to the mental nerve during osteotomy development. Aim of the Work:The purpose......

Abstract: Introduction: Maxillary canine impaction has an incidence of 1 in 100 in the general population and has been reported as much higher in orthodontic patient. Because patients ,it take longer treatment times, depending on the location of the impacted tooth, so early identification of impaction is of critical interest to the orthodontist. Aim of the work: The purpose of this study was to correlate and evaluate the radiographic diagnosis of three-dimensional (3D) cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans with that of panoramic (2D) radiograph for localization of impacted maxillary canines. Materials and methods: The sample enrolled in....
