Abstract: In the modern world, there are so many recent advances in diagnosis in conservative dentistry Endodontics. It is enhanced by newer technologies. The style of this improvement is targeted towards increasing the objectivity sensitivity and reproducibility of the pulp tests while decreasing the patient's discomfort. Methods like Pulse Oximetry, Laser Doppler Flowmetry, Ultrasound Doppler, Dual Wavelength Spectroscopy, Photoplethysmography are being developed and evolved to get adapted to the current clinical setting which may be of great use to the modern endodontist. These new methods fulfill the necessity of choosing the best tools for a good diagnosis. The aim of this review therefore was to assess the utility of some devices and techniques utilized in endodontic therapy to make the correct diagnosis.

Abstract: Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the influence of some prognostic factors such as preoperative size of the lesion, clinical diagnosis, retrograde vs orthograde filling, on the treatment outcome of apicectomy. Method: A total of 33 patients with 40 apicectomised teeth that met the inclusion criteria were followed up for 12 months. The teeth were randomly allocated to two methods of root end filling (Retrograde and without retrograde) based on the pre-operative lesion size and clinical diagnosis before treatment. The participants were followed up for one year. The outcome of treatment was assessed both radiographically and clinically.
Results: 19 males (57.6%) and 14 females (42.4%), 16-66 years mean age 27.4 years (SD 10.8). Thirty-two teeth were considered successful,

Abstract: Statement of Problem.Although metal ceramic and zirconium dioxide restorations are widely used, there is a lack of information about how the fit is affected by fabrication procedures. The adequacy of the fit of all-ceramic restorations hasbeen questioned. Purpose. This study examined the effect of porcelain and glaze firing cycles on the fit of metal ceramic and zirconium dioxidecrowns. Material and methods.Fifteen standardized metal ceramic copings, zirconia copings and further crowns were fabricated on a metal die.A device was used to apply a uniform load on specimens during measurement and to reposition thespecimens on the measurement device after each manufacturing process. The specimens were not cemented andwere......

Abstract: BACKGROUND Foot ulcer is a major disease-causing disability to many patients around the world. Treatment of foot ulcer remains a major healthcare issue; and especially diabetic foot ulcer accounts for 15% of incidence which is the commonest cause of lower extremity amputation accounts for. Effective treatment of ulceration is necessary to reduce the number of amputations as emphasized by St. Vincent's declaration. Therefore, evaluation of the effect of the collagen dressing on various types of foot ulcers is undertaken. The aim of the study was to compare the effectiveness of of collagen dressing in healing of these ulcers in comparison with the conventional wound dressings.......

Abstract: The current ongoing public health issue is COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan, China on 31st December 2019 which now considered as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11th March 2020. Since dental work is the huge producer of aerosol and droplet which can lead to the spread of COVID-19. So the dental professional can play a major role in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 from person to person.

Abstract: Background: Preterm labour and preterm deliveries are very challenging obstetric complications encountered by obstetricians. Incidence of preterm is increasing worldwide. In addition to its contribution to mortality, preterm birth has lifelong effects on neurodevelopmental functioning of the newborns such as increased risk of cerebral palsy, impaired learning and visual disorders and an increased risk of chronic disease in adulthood. The economic cost of preterm birth is high in terms of neonatal intensive care and ongoing health care and educational needs. Hence it is a time felt need to ascertain the causes and outcome of preterm labour and delivery.......

This study evaluated the delivery of reproductive health services in 24 Planned Parenthood Global supported private sector health facilities over a period of 3years in Benue and Nasarawa states of Nigeria. A mixed methods approach, exploring qualitative and quantitative data from Benue and Nasarawa states, was adopted to assess the aim.The quantitative assessment involved a questionnaire survey of 16 private sector health facilities in Benue states and 8 facilities of Nasarawa state; an End-line survey of knowledge and Perception on abortion among community members in both states. Qualitative assessment involved a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with healthcare providers in both states. Antenatal.....

Abstract: Periodontal disease is a major public health concern in the world eventually resulting in tooth loss. Successful periodontal therapy includes the use of antimicrobial agents in conjunction with mechanical debridement. However, the side effects of synthetic microbials has now shifted the focus of current research on natural plant derived agents. Azadirachta Indica (Neem) has been an indispensable part of traditional medicine since ancient times. This literature review is an overview of the potential applications of neem in periodontal therapy..

Abstract: Tuberculous cervical lymphadenitis is the most common manifestation of extra-pulmonary tuberculosis and is a very frequent cause of a peripheral lymphadenitis in the developing world (1). The article reviews the radiological features, diagnostic role and accuracy of ultrasonography in patient presenting with tuberculous lymphadenitis of neck. We attempt to evolve a sono-diagnostic model for tuberculous cervical lymphadenitis. The study included clinically suspected cases of cervical tuberculosis from year may 2016 to October 2018. Ultrasound features of lymph nodes were studied along with ultrasound guided FNAC of lymph nodes. Ultrasound features of cases positive......
