Abstract: The posterior abdominal wall is considered a treasure house of anomalies and variations of viscera or their vasculature, the kidneys being no exception(5). There are various reports of purely arterial variations of kidneys or cystic kidneys with arterial variations(5,6,9). However this case report is unique in that it describes a combined cystic, arterial and hilum variation of left kidney on one side and venous variation of right kidney on the other side. The findings reveal a uniloculated left cystic kidney with an extra renal artery in front of the left renal vein, and on the right side an extra right renal vein draining into the right gonadal vein.

Abstract: Infertility is defined as inability of couple to achieve conception after one year of unprotected coitus. The purpose of investigation is to assess chance of achieving pregnancy and to identify treatable factors. In spite of many investigatory tools available, endometrial histology is a sensitive indicator of ovarian function. Aim of the study is to determine cause of infertility by morphological pattern of endometrium, to assess importance of luteal phase defect and to determine incidence of Tuberculousendometritis as an etiological factor. Study was carried out in the Pathology Dept. RIMS, Ranchi, Jharkhand. This study has been done on 130 endometrial samples of patients having primary infertility. In this study all the patients were ranging between the age group of 18 years to 38 years with a mean age of 24.76 year, while 23 patients (17.7%) were in the age group of 18-20 years, 62 patients (47.5%) in the age group of 21-25 year, 41 patients (31.5%) in the age group of 26-30 years, 3 patients (2.3%) in the age group of 31-35 years, and 1 patients (0.8%) were 38 years of age

Abstract: Background - Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is now considered gold standard for gall stone disease. After elective uncomplicated cholecystectomy patients are generally discharged either on or after 2nd post operative day in our hospital. This article searches scope for early discharge of such patients preferably on 1st post operative day or even on the same day so as to reduce the burden on health care system. Materials and Methods- Data of 150 cases who underwent elective uncomplicated laparoscopic cholecystectomy during july 2019 to december 2019 was evaluated retrospectively. Post operative data of 20 cases was found inadequate and was removed from the study.....

Abstract: Background: The memory complaint results from the subject's awareness of a reduction in their memory skills in everyday situations. There is no correlation between the memory complaint and an objective decrease in memory efficiency in the test situation. Materials and Methods: We evaluated 442 consultants in our memory consultation for memory complaints and we divided them according to age, the presence or absence of objective memory disorders and according to the etiology highlighted. Results: 90% of patients are over 50 years old. In 45% of cases, memory performance is normal and this figure can rise to 83% in those under 50 years of age. In 65% of cases; there is an objective memory deficit and the most common etiology is Alzheimer's disease (AD).......

Abstract: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer are the most common prostate diseases, where BPH occurs in at least 70% of men aged 70 years, while prostate cancer is one of the most common malignancies that occur in men throughout the world, including Asia. The possible role of the immune system in the pathogenesis of BPH and prostate cancer in recent years has begun to be widely studied. Although many studies have focused on T lymphocytes on the development of BPH and prostate cancer, the role of regulatory T cells in the pathogenesis of BPH and prostate cancer is still not well known. The introduction of a regulatory T cell subset in BPH and prostate......

Abstract: Background: Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is considered as high-risk in the presence of cardiac arrest, hemodynamic instability, or cardiogenic shock. However, studies involving patients who have developed cardiopulmonary arrest (CPA) due to acute coronary syndrome are very limited. So, this study aimed to determine the in hospital outcome and prognosis of CPA patients with ACS. Method & Materials: This was a prospective observational study of our database of ACS patients from the period of January 2017 to September 2019 who had been admitted at CCU of Enam Medical College and Hospital, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. A total of 104 ACSpatients, out of them 48 patients who developed cardiopulmonary arrest and 56 patients.....

Abstract: Biomaterials for medical applications have broadly been exploited since long time and subsequently increased their utility in health-care industry that is growing rapidly due to chronic diseases, traumatic accidents, surgical reconstructions, and other health-care problems. Over the time, an extensive research has been done on biomaterials that have shown an imperative role in medical field, especially tissue engineering, drug delivery applications and wound healing. In this review article, recent advances in biomaterials developed to favor drug delivery and tissue repair are presented.

Abstract: INTRODUCTION:- Today's era of medical advancement, acknowledges quenching benefits from immense number of medical devices and among them, urinary catheter -stents proved its frontrunner. DJ stents bypasses upper genitourinary obstruction due to calculus , mass , fibrosis or stricture thus maintaining patent & effortless urinary flow. It hence, prevents from creating any external surgical diversion. It's length ,5-12"(12-30cm) with luminal diameter ,0.06-0.2"(1.5-6mm) and having multiple openings over its surface (overcomes obstruction & dilatesureter 2-3 times) , made of materials like polyurethane (UROLOGY ,RIMS), silicone ,c-flex , urosoft , metal mesh , drug eluting stents etc. It is inserted retrogradely with help of cystoscope and placed between bladder and kidney through ureter under mild sedation , LA or GA...

Abstract: Objective: To estimate the total discounted monetary value of human lives lost (TDMVHL) due to Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the USA as of 3 May 2020. Methods: The study estimates the present value of the 67,535 lives lost from COVID-19 in the USA, using the national average life expectancy of 78.6 years and a 3% discount rate. The robustness of the DMVHL was tested, first using 5% and 10% discount rates, and second, assuming the average global life expectancy of 72 years and then the world's highest life expectancy of 87.1 years......

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Neonatal mortality is the percent of neonatal (infant) mortality of the live- born neonates per thousand live births, in the neonatal period from 0-28 days after delivery, or those born after 22 gestation weeks of pregnancy with birth weight more than 500 g. The neonatal mortality can be divided into early neonatal mortality, which covers the period of 0-7 days after delivery (168h), regardless of the stage of pregnancy, and late neonatal mortality that includes the mortality of live-born infants in 8 until before 28 days after delivery......
